heart I
see clearly

a beautiful
face
shining,

etched
by love.

thanks, helen --

of course - pronouncing the "v" in "love" at the end like an "f" - has me a little flummoxed.  hahaha

what the hell are you doing up?
oh yeah, you've got tomorrow off.  grrrr.
well - i gotta get my ass in gear and finish a few things before calling it a night.  see ya.

Sh#t, just broke me lyre string!
Sorry for the delay. Other thing is I can't record and
hear you at the same time, so don't expect
too much. Oink

of course you can't do both at the same time!

jest lissen first, wise guy, then do a small loop.
doesn't have to be long.  a couple of measures maybe.
then save, then edit >mix.

doesn't your lyre come with a spare set of strings?
CARS COME WITH A SPARE TIRE... don't they?

haha

hmm.

ok - let's call it a sound bite - you just record a little bit - something you can mix in over and over - doesn't have to be more that 10 seconds.

just a little musical phrase that you can duplicate by recording only once and mixing into the file.  hmm.

just find the chord[s] you like - there is no wrong way with a kinderlyre.

i did it with the wind in Night in the South.

i just kept mixing.

connor -

yikes!  you recorded this 'take 2' at too high a decibel level.

go to Volume Control > Options > Properties > (click dot) Recording (make sure Mic is checked) > OK > set Mic Balance in middle or low.  the piece zoomed into the red zone of wave balance on playback.

i prefer wav #1.

even without the line - it sounds more natural.
the other was distorted.

we started another forum for Sound:

unfortunately, there's not much traffic there either.
at one time we had an excellent program that was like instant voice!
very good quality.  but then they decided to make it an expensive proposition.
it was sad to lose it.
:-(

but thanks for listening!
:-)
