IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SIZE YOUR PHOTO/GIF IS

AS YOU CAN RESIZE IT AS FOLLOWS

  1. You should have already posted your photo/gif in a photo album preferably on this site or in another MSN album.
  2. Click on the yellow square with a mountain in it.
  3. Find the photo/gif you want to upload
  4. Click on photo/gif (a red surround should appear)
  5. Click on "Upload " (it will take a while to upload so be patient)

If a scroll bar appears at the bottom then your photo/gif is too big and you need to reduce it as follows:

     1.  When you are making up your message to post on the board left click anywhere on your photo/gif (8 white squares will appear on or near the outside edge of your photo/gif

     2.    Left click and hold on one of the corner squares, drag the square inwards diagonally towards the centre of the photo/gif  (reducing the size of your photo/gif) until the scroll bar disappears.

    3. Click anywhere outside the photo/gif and the squares will disappear.

    4. Click on "Create Page" to finish posting your photo/gif on the message board

Programmes for resizing pics before you post on the message board :

  • http://www.axiomx.com/picsizer.htm  very small download and easy to use. Just click on "Load" in the bottom left corner and you can access Photos/gifs anywhere you have them stored on your computer. Use the two boxes at the top to resize your photos. This programme keeps your pics looking reasonably sharp , certainly good enough to post on our message boards. Experiment to get the best size.
