On the dropdown list click ‘Save as�?a new window will open

Choose which file folder you wish to save it in from the choice given or start a new folder

Type in a name for the picture/photo

Click the ‘save as type�?dropdown arrow and choose jpeg

Click on OPTIONS button

This will enable you to adjust the compression (i.e. size ) of the file. (Midway is ok)

click save

A warning that saving to JPEG format will lose a certain amount of definition will appear

click 'ok'

The file is now saved as jpeg.

A certain amount of quality is sometimes lost in this format,but not so much to be worried about.I don't think it is noticable in 99% of cases

THIS TYPE OF FILE IS EASILY SENT BY E-MAIL OR CAN BE POSTED TO COMMUNITY ALBUMS & MESSAGE BOARDS.

If you do not save to jpeg format, the files will be very large and take too long to upload/download.

How to post to community photo albums

Sign into community

Go to PICTURES (on left hand side menu) and click ‘Create a New Album.�?/SPAN>

There is a download from Msn you will need to be able to ‘Upload�?your pics to an album. This info will automatically pop up. Just follow the onscreen instructions

Type a name for your album and a brief description of it in the boxes

Create album ..........  then click ‘add a photo�?...

Select your pic from the window that opens up.You will be able to choose from all your photos in your computer ( usually in the folder "My Pictures" )

Tick the white box on top right of the pic(s) you wish to send to album.You can also change the title and add a description at this stage.Scroll to the very bottom of the page and select "resize pics" Choose  standard size or small size.  Scroll to the top of the page and click Upload Now.

 ... that’s it all done.
