Another place for cookies to be hidden is in the Temp Internet files Folder. (also known as cache) If you have any passwords or sign in names etc. saved, they will be saved here. You will need to retype them when 1st visiting an msn community or using hotmail accounts etc. if you clean this list of cookies, as they will be hidden in this list. There are so many cookies here that can contain spyware. eg. ‘Double-click?company among others that send messages back to the internet companies who then send lots of unwanted popup adverts to you when you surf the net.

Repeat steps 1 & 2

Double click ‘Temp Internet?folder

Delete all cookies listed.

Open Re-cycle Bin from desktop Empty recycle bin.

On Windows Millennium Edition there is a quick way of doing all the above, now I tell you eh?

START > PROGRAMMES >ACCESSORIES >SYSTEM TOOLS.

Click on Disk ‘Clean up?

Select drive (usually C)

 Tick (check) all boxes.

Click OK

Confirm in yes/no pop up box
