2 post caps with finials
4 pieces of cap molding trim
nails
baseboard molding
4 corner braces
3 /4" cabinet-grade plywood
self-tapping wood screws
1" x 2" pine strips
drill and bit
measuring tape
hammer
saw
miter box

Steps:

  1. Cut plywood to fit the shape and size of the tile. Sand and paint the wood pieces .
  2. Set the tile onto the headboard and attach it with finishing nails.
  3. Frame the tile with 1" x 2" pine strips. Use a miter box and cut the cap molding on a 45-degree angle to fit the tile. Nail molding into the pine strips.
