Veterans come from all accross the nation to partake in festivities. Matter of fact, the festivities started here Friday and will concur at the end of the parade Tuesday. They have all sorts of honors and festivities for them here all weekend

The veterans from Korean war ride on a train car type mobile. The WW1(yes, there are a few alive still) and WW2 veterans have chauffered towncars to ride in. Until last year, there was a man who was 100 and walked the 5 miles of parade. He passed away but that man was something else. He would march, walk, do a little giggy dance and go back to marching and doit all again.
