Mirror Gazing
Find a place to sit comfortably with a mirror positioned in front
of you, within arm's length. Begin by looking deeply into your own
eyes. Allow your eyes to alternate their focus freely between the left and
the right, until you find a comfortable spot. Take note of which eye
you find most comfortable to stare into.
Center your gaze sharply into the pupil. Relax and allow
everything around the pupil of the eye to dissolve into the background. Hold
this focus for as long as possible.
As your focus begins to blur, gently observe your face in your
peripheral vision. You may notice your face appearing to change shape.
Don't look directly at the distortions. Just keep using your peripheral
vision. Watch the way the light and shadow shifts and swirls around your
reflection.
You may see a representation of another part of yourself. You may
see a guide, your Higher Self, or your Shadow Self. You may see people
you have been in other lives. Accept whatever you see and know that it
is all you. Allow love to flow through you to the image in the mirror,
and back again. Let this energy recycle as you commune silently with
your reflection.
The more you practice this exercise, the better you will know
yourself, and the better your discernment will be. Once you are
comfortable with it, you can do it anytime, anywhere for a quick psychic
refresher.
