Choosing Crystals and Gemstones<O:P> </O:P>

Choosing Crystals and Gemstones are a very personal things.  Crystals and gemstones will choose you as much as you choosing them.<O:P> </O:P>

Here are some methods of choosing crystals and gemstones that are right for you.<O:P> </O:P>

1)        Close your eyes for a few moments and clear your mind.  Open your eyes quickly and pick up the very first stone to which your eye becomes naturally drawn.<O:P> </O:P>

2)        Run your hand (either your left or right, which you prefer to use) over all the stones available for selection.  You will soon discover that one stone will 'stick' to your hand as if it is ' tacky' or surrounded with glue. This is your stone.<O:P> </O:P>

3)        Intuitively you will instinctively 'know' which stone you should choose and which is 'right' for you!  You might feel as if the stone is jumping up and down shouting, "Me! Me! Me! Choose Me!"<O:P> </O:P>

4)        Or you might sense or even 'see' a strong crystalline white light radiating from the stone and attracting you like a magnet.<O:P> </O:P>

Most people will choose the crystal which will best assist them in their healing needs; Clearing the mind, helping with a physical problem, meditation, for healing, for Chakra work.  Select the crystal, which has the properties to help you. Cleansing Crystals and Gem Stones for healing and spiritual work can be done in a few different ways you choose the one you are the most comfortable with.  

• Soak them in Sea Salt Water overnight or gently wash them directly in the ocean.  (Note: Some crystals should not be washed/cleansed in salt water/sun for it changes their physical properties (not their metaphysical properties) (e.g.. Labradorite, Opals, Calcite)
• Placing them in Moonlight or Sunlight.
• Bury them in a cupful of dried herbs.
• Use a flower pot to bury your stones covered in earth.
• Smudge them with burning cedar, sage or incenses using the smoke to cleanse them.

Red Stones:               Protection, courage, and energy. Help with blood, stop bleeding, heals rashes and wounds.<O:P> </O:P>

Pink Stones:              Calm, soothes, stops distress, helps with love. They smooth difficulties in relationships and assists with self-love. <O:P></O:P>
