  • The Wicca Herbal
  • Recipes, Magick & Abundance
  • By Jamie Wood

Wicca is a way of life that asks you to attune self with nature. Wicca is a Guide for living with strong spiritual emphasis. It requires responsibility and personal connection to spirit ?Goddess and God. You need to be in nature. Listen to Her and Him around us - not one single source. You to listen to your intuition.

Magick is the manifestation of our thots and desires. Magick comes from ancient term meaning, "To be able" In Wicca, spelled magick to distinguish it from general term of magic. The K in Magick balances the energy of the word; the "k" reaches for the sky while the "g" roots to the earth.

Spells remind us of our ability to manifest even without the right herbs or candle. Wicca reminds us of our Divine nature by pointing to the fact that the Divine is within. The rituals and ceremonies remind us of our part in the connection with nature and the earth with all Her creations.

Witches heal. The herbs are one path to heal others and ourself; ancient Witches followed and some follow today. You cannot become a Witch by casting spells, lighting incense and candles. Instead, look outside, feel the wind, observe the stars and the bird’s flight, watch how nature grows quiet in the winter and allow for the same rest and introspection in your life. With as nature re-awaking in the spring, perhaps you will also waken refreshed and relaxed.

---

Centuries ago, the earth’s supply of herbs and plants comforted us; she offered ready remedies for all to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Herbs, especially growing your own, are our way of connecting with nature, digging into the fresh soil, helps our well-being. We tap into her wisdom and feel protected and provided. Herbs teach us balance between resting and blooming the need and value of our dependency, and the universe’s perfect harmonic timing.

Turning into nature and herbs can help bring the spiritual to the mundane, heaven/sky to earth. We align ourselves with the vibrations and the powers and energies of the plants while tending to them in the garden or when using them either majically workings, for health or our body and mind our in simply cooking or burning. There is an energy force within each plant, focusing on these energies ?properties will increase its ability to healing and to enhance ?focus and visualization is vital.

Harmonizing:

We can maximize our personal potential by flowing the cycles of the seasons, allowing parts of ourselves to die during the fall months, going inward for introspection during the winter, birthing a new self during spring, and dancing in the sun when the summer comes.

Watch for more from Jamie's book.....I highly recommed this book
