Merry Meet Who am I? I'm a very complicated pagan woman. I'm 47, single mother of a teen boy. I've studied and practiced new age, theology, and pagan arts since high school. I've lived in an intentional spiritual community for 15 years. I now live in NC. I have an Italian Greyhound named Diamond (he has a horse's diamond on his forehead) and a cat named Sundae. When I lived at SHV (Sparrowhawk Village is the name of the spiritual community I lived in. If interested in checking it out -- you can find it on the web) I have 15 dogs and 10 cats, 33 acres of virgin land on the top of a mountain. You may ask why I moved? Because my son had AML cancer at 11 months and when the treatments were finished, my mother wanted me to move near her. She moved from Minnesota and I moved from OKlahoma We settled for a couple of years in Colorado. Then we moved here in NC. I am an Army brat, then an IBM brat meaning I'm more of a gypsy than a long timer in one location. I've meet many people and seen many things. As a result I am very eclectic in my opinions. I am more spiritual than relegious, as a result I'm more pagan than Wiccan though I practice more Wiccan thoughts than most others...I think. As I evolve, things may change, but I'll forever be pagan. In a nutty shell...I'm cracked. 'Course it's more fun being different than the same as everyone else. Besides, who would want to be like me? Me! Heather |

Again your quite welcome! What differentiates this group from others of this nature, is not that were better, but special. Unlike most other faiths, (and their variants,) we Pagans to, have our "variances" such as two Italians who may be "professional" gourmets with various differences perhaps in their recipes claiming to be shall we say, spaghetti. Arguing and beating themselves up (just an example.) "other religions, not to mention politicians"I cannot speak for others, but this is one group where differences are respected, and within the normal reason, tolerated. Wiccan, Witch, neither, or both, and the variances of the proverbial variancesan Italian spaghetti analogy. (lol) other religions, and these days, even politicians can take an example & learn from our group of diversity within our Pagan faith and the "various" techniques traditional, or "outside the box" etc. feel free to tell others of "like mindedness." Better for a group to grow slowly and steady with a firm foundation, then a bunch of "wannabes" on the net. "Goddess, and the God shine their brilliance so I decree, so mote it be!,,Flash |
