My film "Gondola With the Wind 2" can be seen on the web if you have a high speed internet connection.  The video features Rome, Florence, Venice, Pompeii, Capri, Pisa, and many other parts of north and south Italy.

This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player.  No ads and no strings attached.  I sell absolutely nothing.

<o:p> </o:p>

My video site is:

With any modem you can view a brand new gallery of still pictures from my trips to <st1:country-region><st1:place>Italy</st1:place></st1:country-region> at:

There are 29 of my other amateur travel videos on-line covering all 7 continents, including trips to China, Australia, Russia, Antarctica, American National Parks, an African safari, Egypt, Peru, Mayan pyramids, Berlin & Paris, Greece and Turkey; see whales, penguins, or polar bears.  One of these films is the original “Gondola With the Wind? filmed seven years before Gondola 2.  It begins with <st1:country-region><st1:place>Italy</st1:place></st1:country-region>, followed by <st1:place>Eastern Europe</st1:place>.

The planet is yours, including my Home Page giant galaxy of still pictures at:<o:p></o:p>

Hiyah David, aka the IntrepBerkExplorer. Just a quick message to say thanks for the interesting post. I've clicked on the video and photo links and just want to point out that your wording is partly covered by the photos on the photo intro page and you have words overlapping words on the video intro page.
Had a peek at your source code and you appear to have used Netscape to either make up or post the pages. I use IE and this may be why the pages don't look correct. You need to download a copy of IE6 and check your code with that and maybe you'll realise what I'm going on about.
I'll go check the Italy video now.
 aka Mervyn

Here's a sample of how your page looks to me (reduced slightly)

Blue Sky (Mervyn),

To further discuss this problem and perhaps get me to understand it, why don't we leave the forum and you can e-mail me directly at [email protected]  .

I have no clue how to correct something that I cannot see on my own screen.
Some people once mentioned garish colors on my Video Page, but I never saw those either.  You have been kind enough to show me the undesirable images on your screen, but what explains why you get them and I don't?

Technically, I am fairly hopeless, except for matters directly relating to the videos.  We can both see this in the strange symbols that placed themselves in my post.  Source codes, which you mention, I know zero about.  Plus, Netscape has nothing to do with this.  The Video Page and all the other pages on my site were created using PageBuilder by Yahoo/Geocities, a non html tool.  I have the same IE browser you do, so it's unlikely this is about browsers.

The disease is simply unknown to me, but it only appears on some computers.  I cannot conceive of a cure, except possibly adding space between the film titles and text, which would leave an odd appearance on my computer.  Apparently the pages on my site which contain still pictures and text don't present the same flaws.  Perhaps you can check on that.

Confused, but willing to learn; and appreciative of your help,

Dave

The nice weather we are getting means I am very busy at the moment but I have e-mailed you. Will get back to you later in the week.

Just one more quicky ... if you right click on a blank space on this page and then click on "view source code" in the drop down list you will see the html that is used to make this page up. A real eye-opener if you have never used html.

Just thought I'd bump this thread up to the top. I must have viewed these videos several times and I like the way the music is picked to fit what you are watching.
Oh and whatever the problem was with the pages it isn't there now.
