| I made this community because I had such a long list of links in my favourites on Italy that it took me ages to find the one I wanted My wife and I like the relaxed atmosphere and friendly people of Italy and take holidays there whenever time and money permits Places we have visited and can give you a personel account or advice on :- Lake Garda, Lake Como, Venice, Cattolica (just south of Rimini), Ravenna, Florence, Rome, Bari and back to the Venice region this year (2006) somewhere near Padova. I also have many books and videos, etc. on Italy, so just ask if you want to know something and if I don't then I can probably find some information for you. I'm a gardener by trade, so the first thing I look for when I go on holiday is.... yes you've guessed it....gardens in the near vicinity.
