If I've got the link above correct you should be able to see one of the gardens we visited back in July when we visited the Veneto area of Italy.
There are so many grand villas in this area especially along the Brenta canal, but it was the area that the Venetian hierarchy used to go to escape the bustle and noise of Venice itself.
Have to say though that whilst they keep up the standards inside the villas many of them look very run down on the outside. A bit of cement to fill the odd crack or two and a lick of paint would work wonders.
Maybe I should set myself up as a painter and decorator out there and make a killing.
