I remember when we took a walk and a ride

to the beach where the rocks were washed clean by the tide

your arms tight around me

you held me to stare, at the dancing white horses

as the wind  whipped our hair

your kiss filled my lips, our whole lives before us

the world was our stage , our babies, our chorus.

Racing and laughing and holding my hand

you knelt on the beach, wrote our names in the sand.

the tide took our letters, so far out of reach

and i'm standing alone on my personal beach

I still feel the warmth of your love,although I'm alone

standing here in the wind,on its breath is your song.
