Obsidian Obsidian comes in lots of different varieties. It is molten lava that cooled so quickly it had no time to crystalize. Its a stone without boundaries or limitations, so works extremely fast and with great power. Its truth enhancing, reflective qualities are merciless in exposing flaws, weaknesses and blockages. It impels us to grow and lends us solid support while we do so. It needs careful handling as it is so powerful. Its also strongly protective, forming a shield against negativity (I have an obsidian arrowhead hanging next to my front door). It also blocks geopathic stress and can soak up electromagnetic smog from computers etc. My favourite is snowflake obsidian, which is the one on the right hand side of the picture. Its black with beautiful white snowflakes on the surface. |

I do have a few crystals Betty but have not used them in a long time, I find this one absolutely stunning, this has certainly given me a reason to resurface my crystals, thank you. x |

Well Im glad you're all enjoying it, ill try to post the most common crystals first and then maybe chuck in a few more unusual ones that you might like! well in my experience some people have better results with some stones than others. without going into too much detail I bought, charged and placed some crystals in my flat after i moved in, and i would say the results ive got have been almost too much so that ive now had to remove the crystals as ive i cant take any more of the gifts they have given me lol. also ive recommended moonstone lots of times to women who have problems with their periods or hormones etc with stunning results after having great results with it myself whether its the actual crystal or wearing it that focuses you on what you want so you strive harder to achieve it, i dont really know, but i like having them around, they make me feel very positive  |

Black Colored Gems & Minerals
Gems and minerals that are black absorb all light. It is a color that suits itself well to stripping off excess energies. This is very noticeable with pain. When looking at pain with the point of view that it is an energy, we find it generally occurs wherever there is a block or energy back up or bottleneck.
Black gems like Smokey Quartz or Black Tourmaline will absorb this excess energy which results in relaxation and the pain seems to disappear. This may not mean that you have eliminated the cause, but becoming freed from pain is a good prerequisite for further treatment.
