| I woke early one morning, The earth lay cool and still When suddenly a tiny bird Perched on my window sill, He sang a song so lovely So carefree and so gay, That slowly all my troubles Began to slip away. He sang of far off places Of laughter and of fun, It seemed his very trilling, brought up the morning sun. I stirred beneath the covers Crept slowly out of bed, Then gently shut the window And hit his #$!@%* head.

Smiles and happiness, hugs and love, blessings that fall like snow from above.
Soft little whispers from angels that sing, remember I'm wishing you all of these things.
When life gets you down and you're feeling blue, may hopes of happiness bring smiles to you.
Have A Super Day |

I stand before the mirror each day, And squinting, wonder what to say. Then comes to me this bit of truth, I was much thinner in my youth.
In days gone by I had more hair. I had more muscles everywhere. But now I flex, in boyish pose, Still wondering why this tummy grows.
Oh well, I say, it's not so bad. I've still got teeth. That makes me glad. And, blessed I am to see this sight. At least I'm standing here, upright.
And then, I look into those eyes That look right back, with no disguise. Then, I remember what to say, As I begin another day.
Come on, let's go. Let's wash that face. Let's greet this day with warm embrace. It's time to bend our knee to pray And give thanks for this awesome day.

A sweet little boy surprised his grandmother one morning and brought her a cup of coffee.
He made it himself and was so proud.
He anxiously waited to hear the verdict on the quality of the coffee.
The grandmother had never in her life had such a bad cup of coffee, and as she forced down the last sip she noticed three of those little green army guys in the bottom of the cup.
She asked, "Honey, why would three little green army guys be in the bottom of my cup?"
Her grandson replied, "You know grandma, it's like on TV...
The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup."

This morning when I wakened And saw the sun above, I softly said, "Good morning, Lord, Bless everyone I love."
Right away I thought of you And said a loving prayer, That he would bless you specially, And keep you free from care.
I thought of all the happiness A day could hold in store, I wished it all for you because No one deserves it more.
I felt so warm and good inside, My heart was all aglow. I know god heard my prayers for you, He hears them all you know.
