Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But don't forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.

Always remember to forget
The troubles that have passed away.
But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.

You're not just an age,
Or an hourly wage.
You're more than your e-mail address.

You're not just some size,
Or the shape of your thighs,
Or the make of the car
you possess.

You're not just your PIN,
Or the shade of your skin,
Or the place you were born,
or the date.

You're not your IQ,
Or the width of your shoe,
Your zip code, your height,
or your weight.

You can't be defined
By your zodiac sign,
Or the lines in the palm
of your hand.

It's not who you know
Or the money you owe,
Your blood type or cereal brand.

You're much too complex
For just race, creed or sex,
You're wonderfully
multi-dimensional.

You're one-of-a-kind
With a fabulous mind
And a spirit
that's quite unconventional!

That makes you a treasure
Which cannot be measured
With numbers or checks
on a chart.

You're truly tremendous,
Amazing, stupendous!
Believe it with all of your heart!

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth
quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater
and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble,
it's a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit
to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

I think I have found the
secret to inner peace!

My therapist told me that the way to achieve inner peace
was to always finish things I had started.

So today, I finished
two bags of potato chips,
a box of doughnuts,
a bottle of red wine, and

the rest of that chocolate fudge swirl ice cream.

I feel better already!

Please pass this valuable information along to all your
friends and loved ones who need to achieve inner peace!

Too often we don't realize
what we have until it's  gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
we hold dearest to our hearts.
And we allow foolish things
to tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
unimportant things into our minds.
And then it's usually too late
to see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
how much they mean to you.
Take that time to say the words
before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
everything you've got.
And be thankful for the
Little things in life...that mean a lot.

I picked a star to wish upon
From all the stars above...
And closed my eyes and made a wish
To send you all my love.

So look up in the sky tonight
And find one special star...
The one that hold my wish to you
No matter where you are.

And when you see that special star
My wish will come to you...
For stars were made to wish upon
And wishes do come true!

Somebody cares if you're happy today,
If your heart is cheerful and light.
Somebody cares if you're feeling good
And everything's going just right.

And somebody hopes this message will show,
In a warm little heart-to-heart way..
That you're thought of, remembered, and happily wished
An especially wonderful day.

My Friend

Forget about the days when its been cloudy,
but don’t forget your hours in the sun.

Forget about the times you’ve been defeated,
but don’t forget the victories you’ve won.

Forget about mistakes that you can't change now,
but don’t forget the lessons that you’ve learned.

Forget about misfortunes you encounter,
but don’t forget the times your luck has turned.

Forget about the days when you’ve been lonely,
but don’t forget the friendly smiles you’ve seen.

Forget about the plans
that didn’t seem to work out right,

but,

Do not forget that you have friends,
that you can always count on.

If we might have a second chance
To live the day's once more,
And rectify mistakes we've made
To even up the score.
If we might have a second chance
to use the knowledge gained,
Perhaps we might become at last
As fine as God ordained.
But though we can't retrace our steps,
However stands the score,
Tomorrow brings another chance
For us to try once more.

You came along when I needed you most
You held my hand, you brought me close
You showed me that tomorrow the sun will shine
And that life ain't half bad more than half the time.

You gave me a hug in your gentle way
And gave your support nearly every day.
Somehow, you always seem to care
Rain or shine, by my side you're there.

You make my life feel like a song
You helped me see that I am strong,
When I felt too weak to stand alone
You tell me I'm not on my own.

For all that you do for me, I am so very grateful.
And each night I find the brightest star
And thank God for giving me a friend
with such a caring heart.

Twenty-Four Things to Always Remember

One Thing to Never Forget

Your presence is a present to the world
You're unique and one of a kind
Your life can be what you want it to be
Take the days just one at a time

Count your blessings, not your troubles
You'll make it through with whatever comes along
Within you are so many answers
Understand, have courage, be strong

Don't put limits on yourself
So many dreams are waiting to be realized
Decisions are too important to leave to chance
Reach for your peak, your goal, your prize

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying
The longer one carries a problem
The heavier it gets
Don't take things too seriously
Live a life of serenity
Not a life of regrets

Remember that a little love goes a long way
Remember that a lot goes for ever
Remember that friendship is a wise investment
Life's treasures are people together

Realize that it's never too late
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way
Have health, hope and happiness
Take the time to wish upon a star

And don't ever forget
For even a day
How very special you are

Unicorn

Never stop caring
about the little things in life,
never stop dreaming
or give in to strife.
Stars
Never stop building bridges
that lead to promising tomorrows,
never stop trying
or give in to sorrows.
Stars
Never stop smiling
and looking forward to each new day,
But most of all my friend...
never stop shining in you own special way.
Stars
Never forget that all storms can clear,
the grayest sky can turn pure blue.
Remember, brighter tomorrows are near...
And of course, I'm always here for you.

No matter where we go,
or who we become,
may we never forget,
those who helped us get there.

There is never a wrong time,
to pick up the phone or send an email;
telling your friends, and family,
how much you miss them
or how much you love them.

Pass this on, to someone who needs a little reminder.
