Reports are surfacing that the reason JT Kash is only a part-time competitor on W2K's roster is due to his inability to reach an agreement in writing. As a result, he is paid by appearance on RAGE and PPV, but apparently he is not being paid for televised promos and shoots. Those are done on Kash's time. It's reported that Kash has been very willing to give up his free time to help out Wrestling 2000 despite his lack of a written contract. This is not surprising, since W2K is where he "came up", so to speak, becoming JT Kash and polishing his skill.

In other news, FWA officials have apparently been very concerned that JT may ask for release from his existing FWA contract- in favor of a full-time W2K return. Allegedly, this is the reason he was given the FWA Attitude Championship and why he is listed as a contender to the FWA Title despite no supporting storyline. Kash has also been given a hands-on role with his storylines and angles, and according to rumors, full creative control over his matches. After losing so much talent to W2K's rebirth, MSN certainly will want to use their resources to keep JT Kash in FWA. Whether that works out or not is up to Kash, but his dedication to W2K is undeniable and it would certainly not be a surprise if he made the jump.

When asked for comment, Kash responded with the following:

"Wrestling 2000 has been my home for a long time, and of course I'll be a part of it in some fashion. Right now though, my primary focus has got to be where my primary paycheck is- and that's Fans Wrestling Alliance. FWA has been good to me, and I'm not the type to pull any sort of corporate backstab. Unless things change, right now I plan to ride out my FWA contract and see what happens when the time comes."

And later:

"Right now, I'm enjoying the role I have with W2K. Michaels can carry a feud by himself, if he has to, so my part-time situation doesn't seem like a problem. It brings me back working an angle with Christian, and I think the fans are definitely into it. The new W2K under Hamid is very different, but very familiar. I don't want MSN to read this and get jealous, I'm happy in FWA, but I definitely give props to Hamid for rebuilding something that a lot of people thought was dead."

Hamid Ismali had a talk with Kash behind closed doors at the last RAGE taping, and it's rumored that the two of them walked out on very good terms. Hamid was smiling, and if that's any indicator, perhaps JT Kash will be signing W2K's dotted line sometime in the near future.

It's reported that Kash will definitely be backstage at the next RAGE taping, which must be tough when Conflict is on the same night, but Kash doesn't seem bothered by the commute. For the moment, Kash says he's content working both promotions.

We'll keep you posted on the situation.
