*This takes place right after Meltdown.

Nevyrmorr is seen walking down the hall after his Meltdown loss to Kryptt, utterly incensed. He's kicking over chairs and flipping over tables, with and without the use of his hands. A lone, male stagehand with an empty tray walks out of the cafeteria, a little too slow for Nev's liking. He growls loudly, "Get the hell out of my way!" The stagehand glowers at Nev, "What are you gonna do-" Within a second, a fireball is heading towards his forehead. He barely gets up the red plastic rectangle up to shield his face. It does little good as it melts the tray in half. Instantly, the stagehand leaps out of the way to avoid further damage. The sound of rumbling feet are heard and Nev turns around. It's security. He smiles at the onconming potential melee, standing feet shoulder width apart and fists balled up at his sides.

They step closer... closer... even closer, and some tough words escape them, but just as Nev tenses... a door directly to his left swings open, and Terri Lamin pokes her head out, looking at the Rent-A-Cops. She smiles,

"Well, its a nice change you're not here to see me today."

Terri just nonchalantly walks out and stands infront of Nev, between him and security, but acts as if he isn't there.

One of the men looks at Terri, shaking his head. "Yeah, you stay put. I'm sure we'll be back for you later."

"Awww... I'm being a good girl. No need to bust out the plastic cuffs and pretend like you're one of the big hogs, instead of just a lil piglet."

Terri walks up to them, and, she whispers between the two, which Nev cannot hear. Then, she straightens up, and steps back.

"Now, you two run along and play with the kids outside vandalizing the parking lot, before I gotta call animal control on ya."

With a scowl, the security guards walk away. A smile tugs at the corner of Nev's mouth as Terri turns around and looks at him with a smug smile. She holds her hands out as if to say 'ta-da!' Nev shakes his head.

"Wow, you actually diffuse the situation for once."

Terri nods.

"I'm good at messing up people's day."

Nev nods, then his face instantly turns sour as he kicks the wall with the heel of his boot as he leans against it.

"Damn, fuckin' Kryptt!"

Terri just shakes her head.

"Yeah... I saw. But, try to look at it this way," She motions toward the doors where Security left, "It could be much worse. I mean, you could be one of them." Now, she grins, as she sort of nudges him, "I'm sure you're not as easy to get rid of as they are.... right?"

Nev simply glares at her. Terri's attempt at humor do not work on the incensed Dark Warrior.

Terri, simply, glares back at him.

"Don't give me that look, Tristan. I mean, think about it. I'm serious... there's room for correcting what is wrong, you know? Yes, you lost... but you know what? You'll go back, and you'll do it again until its right, until it turns out the way you KNOW it should- and causin' me to scare off security, or, burnin' down the building won't get that accomplished, now will it?"

Nev grits his teeth like an attack whose anger has been aroused. Little does Terri know, he's fighting back the urge to laugh. He hates admitting it when someone's right. No use...the Dark Warrior's better senses prevail and the scowl crumbles like the Berlin Wall in 1989. Instantly, he doubles over laughing.

"Dammit, Terri, you know me better than I thought you did."

Terri grins at him, "Well, that's because I know everything," She flips her hair back in a mockingly girly way, and she thinks, its too bad we don't have slow motion. "I can't handle things being so serious... If you're gonna continue to put me through this, I'm gonna have to kick your ass."

Nev turns around to walk, looks over his shoulder, and winks at her, "Is that a promise?"

"Maybe. If you're a good boy." And, Terri raises an eyebrow at him, with a smirk.

Nev simply smiles a huge grin as he looks down the hallway, Terri walking down his side.

"Oh, the possibilities."

Terri crosses her arms, and cuts her eyes over at Nev, "So... where, exactly, are we going? Obviously, I can't leave you alone, or you might make someone spontaneously combust or something." She smiles because it'd actually be pretty cool to see something like that.

Nev smiles slyly at her.

"You DO know me well."

He shrugs his shoulders and sighs.

"I don't know. I was feeling like going back to my hotel and taking it easy. Unless you wanna go out or something?"

Terri shrugs now, too.

"Nah, I don't wanna go anywhere. I hate Texans."

"Who don't you hate?"

"Oh... good point. But nah, no going out."

For a moment, its quiet... but, Terri decides: "How bout we just walk until we end up somewhere?"

Nev shrugs as they arrive at his dressing room, "Sure, but I gotta go get showered and dressed first."

He looks back at Terri and smiles invitingly as he pushes the door open slightly, "You wanna join me?"

Terri puts on her best evil glare, and twists her lips into a smirk to cover up the big doofy smile that's hiding inside her, and she shrieks defiantly,

"TRISTAN!"

Nev shrugs with a hearty laugh, his goal accomplished.

"Just a thought."

Then, he disappears inside his dressing room.

Nevyrmorr reaches for the shower nob and slowly twists it as he stands to the side, out of range of the water jets soon to come down. As you know, when you turn a shower on, it initially comes out extremely cold before you turn the hot water on. The Dark Warrior didn't get this far in life without doing a little thinking first.

So, once the water warms up, Nev steps under and rests his hands against the wall in front of him. He lets the water run down his hair, soaking it, then flood down his toned, muscled warrior's body. The sensation of the warm water is intoxicating.Sometimes, he wishes he could test showers for a living. There's not many things more relaxing that nice, warm shower. For him, time stops and a feeling of security ensues. Those kinds of showers feel especially comforting after a hard day, like a reassuring friend....or lover.

Terri LaMin Dangerously. Those three words have dominated his thoughts ever since he returned to his second home, W2K. Terri and Nev have been the proverbial sword in each others' sides ever since he joined up with W2K back in September of 2003. Now, he finds himself allying with her. He finds himself more than looking forward to the next time he'll see her. Once her face pops into his head, Nev shakes the thought from his head as if shaking off pesky cobwebs inside his mind.

"No, Tristan, you can't do this again."

The Dark Warrior's mind shoots back to his last major relationship, Morganna Black the so-called Black Dahlia. The so-called witch who saw her family brutally murdered. She was kidnapped by the man who did it all, her former fiance Charles. Nev and his brother Phoenix with the help of Morganna's cousin Nevaeh rescued Morganna from Charles' clutches. After that, Morganna simply disappeared.

"Some 'Thank You' that was."

None the less, he can't help but think about the bliss he felt while the relationship lasted.

Morganna smiled again, Nev's lips so soft agaisnt hers, his arms so safe. She knew this was where she wanted to be and nothig was going to take this away from her.

"Thats good. Through everything you have given me a strength I forgot I had in me. Winning the BackYard title showed me that you released that strength and I will always be indebted to you for that. You showed me that nothing in life is unobtainable, whether it be gold... or love."

Her eyes locked on his with her last words and she leaned in, kissing him deeply. Nev returns the favor, holding her body in his left arm and cradling he head in he right. He pulls away, breathlessly. His broad chest heaves as he stares deep into her eyes.

"I helped you along. Only you were able to really help yourself. I did nothing."

She lays her head against his arm, basking in the safety she feels here with him.

"You believed in me, and you didn't let me hide away form the world. Thats all it took babe."

Nev smiles warmly, a smile he usually doesn't smile. The smiles he gives are ones of vindictive satisfaction at the demise of an enemy...a smile that never has anything pure behind it.

"And you believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I know what it's like to be totally happy again....thank you."

She winks teasingly again at him...

"Well not right totally at the moment, but that can be changed."

She kisses him, nibbling and kisisng down his neck as her hands slip under his shirt, rubbing over his chest. Nev winks at her.

"Let's hop in the shower, shall we?"

"Now that's an offer I cant refuse."

She climbs off his lap and grabs his hand, pulling him off the sofa and leading him into the bedroom.

Nev shakes his head vigorously once again.

"God, what's with me and showers?"

Then, there was Nevyrmorr's famous, or infamous, relationship with W2K iconness Black Widow. Both were strong willed, both were passionate. When they weren't making love, they were arguing. Widow was 'the one' in Nev's eyes. She was the woman to finally help him get over his fiance, Cori O'Riordian who died by a drug dealer's bullet when she and Nev accidentally happened upon the dealer with a client. The Crimson Queen was the one who helped Nev forget the pain of the memory of Cori's death. She was the one who he was going to marry. Widow and Nev's relationship was a roller coaster with many peaks....

Nev kisses Widow's forehead and looks her in the eyes once again, "I don't know why I was so damn blind when I had the answer to my problems right in front of me. You're everything I've wanted in a woman, Teresa. You're smart, down-to-earth, independent, strong, and so," Nev looks her up and down, "So sexy."

Widow smiles shyly and looks into Nev's eyes, "I'm so glad that you've finally gained sight." Widow brushes her hair from her face, "Tristan.... Promise you'll still toture me and tease me and make me want you every day, just as badly as I have since the days I laid my eyes on you."

Nev nods, "Torture you shall have...if you really want it." Nev bows before Widow, "Your wish is my command, my lady."

He raises an eyebrow, "You want me sto tart now?"

Widow grabs ahold of Nev and pulls him to her. Her robe falling open and her bare chest pushes against his, "No, I do." Widow slides her hands over Nev's shoulders, up through his hair, looking hungrily into his eyes and leans in and kisses him passionately.

Nev returns the hunger, satisying it, yet leaving her wanting more. He runs his hands all over her body. His fingers travel the curves of her figure recklessly. He holds her below the waist, just touching her buttocks. He kisses her neck as if his lips belonged there on her body. All the while, his hands moving up and down her body, still exploring. This time, Nevyrmorr isn't leaving. This time...he's staying.

And valleys...

Widow laughs and rolls her eyes, as she does so well, "Lonely existence? Good one Tristan. But once again, you're wrong. I have more in my life than just my title.... Does Constance ring a bell? Or perhaps WIlliam Rodney Mercy? Remember him? Just because you haven't seen each and every minute of my life flashing over those television monitors doesn't mean that I don't love more things than that title. It's just that I've realized to keep my other loves out of camera view. And contrary to what you think.... I'm not complex Tristan, I'm rather quite simple.... You fuck with the loves of my life and I fight back. Simple and not so sweet."

Nev laughs, "Yeah, Mercy. You got me, there. How good IS he in bed. OH! I forgot...when does he get out of the hospital?"

Widow sighs, "I thought you grew up?.... Guess that was another wrong statement."

Nev shrugs, "Yeah, you're right about Constance, though. But, Mercy, how long's it gonna be 'til you dump him? You were in love with NED, he's way out of the picture. Trip? The title got in the way. Well, we both know why Rory dumped you, hehe. Where's Damo now? He's always a fling on the side. So, which next man is going to sweep you off your feet before you let your stupid career or another man get in the way? The loneliness I speak of, dear princess, is that of romance and I know how you long for romance. It will not be me who makes your life a living hell, but you. I'm just here to open your eyes to what you've created."

Widow folds her arms and smiles one her own sadistic trademark smiles, "Come what may Tristan.... Come what may."

Nev smiles another sadistic smile, "Indeed, princess, indeed. It may come sooner than you think."

Before Widow can think, Nev raises both of arms and from each of his hands two wide jets of flame shot forth from them. He spreads them slowly as they spread from the floor to the walls and to the ceiling , from corner to corner. He looks at Widow and smiles amidst the glow. His white face glowing red like some demon from below. He points with his head behind him towards the two French doors that lead outside.

Nevyrmorr speaks, "You knew what I could do. I warned you, anyway. Now you know I'm not bluffing. Our match is a non-title match. That title will not matter, nor will it ever. When you lose your house...maybe you'll figure out what's really important. "

There is a small silence before Nev adds pointing with his head towards the French doors that lead outside, "You better hurry.  This spreads quickly."  The CD player ironically spews the last few words of the Doors song..."This is the END" as the scene fades with Nev's face smiling amdist the flames.

Nev shuts the water off, letting his wet hair drip and hang limp on his head, covering his face and obstructing the view of his eyes. He shakes his head, leans against the wall, and slides down into a siting postion on the shower floor. He pushes his hair back with both hands, clearing his vision. The Dark Warrior rests his arms on his knees and shakes his head as a view of Terri's captivating face envelops his mind. Nev closes his eyes and shakes his head again, clearing the cobwebs from his mind once more.

"I can't do this again."

....

"There may be something there that wasn't there before..."

"Pft.... pain in the ass."

Terri stuffs her hands into her back pockets, as she begins to pace infront of Nev's dressing room door. Her head shakes back and forth as she thinks about the things he just said. Terri's known Nev for quite some time now, and they've always seemed to have a love/hate thing about them. He's an absolute pain in her ass, and on purpose... and Terri gladly returns this favor. But, as Terri's mind begins to wander, she can't help but note the smile she'd seen on his face earlier, when she managed to get security off his back. Or, the smile just a moment ago, when he jokingly invited her into his shower. It's unusual for Nevyrmorr to smile... atleast, as much as he has lately, when in her presence. And she noticed.

Then... Terri just thinks about his smile, period.

He does have an infectious smile, very handsome-
"-for such a sour little fucker."

She says this outloud, responding to the thought, as if to defy it. It's no secret that Terri Lamin has had bad luck with the "L" word in the past- apparently, its a curse that neither Dangerously sibling was made aware of. In her eight years (or close enough) with W2K and/or the MSN Circuit, Terri has been married twice- first to former W2K Champion, Jericho KoX, who is said to be the father of eight-year-old Claudia (but Terri denies it), and to her estranged husband, Ranma Saotome. Besides an ex and current husband, she has been romantically linked to the likes of Ravage, Sef Kinsley, JT Kash, and most recently, Johnny Fame. There was speculation that she had a lesbian affair with Black Widow, and knowing Terri and Widow... it's probably true. I doubt anyone would remember it, but she was also, momentarily, linked to Jason Hart- oh shit.... we'll skip that one.

But, as Terri Lamin stops pacing and leans with her back against his dressing room door, she crosses her arms infront of her chest. She hadn't thought about it earlier, but now that she is thinking about it, she wonders what made her save Nevyrmorr from W2K's personal pigs-in-training. As you well know, its not in her nature to be helpful- quite the contrary, actually- and, at this moment of realization, Terri's head lowers, and her forehead rests in her open hand. Is it possible that... maybe she just wanted a reason to see him? I mean, if it had been anyone else out there, she would have only emerged to make matters worse... and point and laugh at the poor bastard as he was carried away and thrown out on his ass.

Sigh!

"ARGH! This is insanity. I can't even STAND him! He's bratty..... throws temper tantrums..... AND! He aggravates the BLOODY FRIGGIN' HELL OUTTA ME!"

Terri nods.

I'm not sure why she nods.... perhaps agreeing with herself in an attempt to convince herself that she's not crushing-

"WELL AH'M NOT!"

You are too. Your accent always gets thicker when you're emotional-

"I AIN'T EMOTIONAL!"

Are too.

"NOT!"

Too.

"NOT NOT NOT!"

Stop being a brat. I'm your thoughts, stupid, I know you better than your big fat mouth does.

".... Shut up, or I'll poke you with a q-tip."

Terri's head lowers once more, but at the sound of footsteps, and the clearing of a throat, she hears the voice of a stagehand-

"Miss Dangerously-

"THAT'S MISSES SAOTOM- I MEAN MISS DANGEROUSLY!"

She rolls her eyes.

"... What do you want?"

"Well, I just noticed you standing here talking to air, and I was wondering if I could get something for you. A hot cup of coffe is always soothing.... perhaps some prozac? Or Valium?"

"You can go the hell away before I pound you into the concrete. I'M TRYING TO HAVE A PRIVATE MENTAL BREAKDOWN HERE!"

"Fine!"

Terri sighs, leaning herself with back against the door again as the stagehand walks off. She doesn't get it... doesn't get why, all of a sudden, all these things started to flood her. Afterall, she usually only has one emotion on different levels; kinda pissed off, REALLY pissed off... and Raging Bytch. But, right now, as she realizes that he'll soon be finished, and back in her sights, she feels her heart [she has one of those, y'know] speeding up. She can't wait to hear his voice, or breathe in the way he'll smell after a shower, and it's surely the reason she's guarding this door like a pitbull.

"This is crazy."

She slaps her forehead, and leans her head back against the door now, looking up at the ceiling.

Get a freakin' grip, would ya? It's just Tristan. Not like he's some Knight in shining armor that's gonna ride in on a white horse and sweep you off your feet-

"AHHH!"

Terri never had time to react, as the door was swung open from the inside, and she can only scream as she stumbles and falls backwards, and flinches, bracing herself for the impact when she hits the floor....

.... it doesn't happen. Instead, something catches her.

She opens one eye, and there he is, grinning and shaking his head. He caught her in mid-fall, and instantly Terri feels like she could just melt in his arms and disappear forever... not because she's feeling fluttery hearted about him, but because, she's a little embarrassed. And he might've noticed that, because he doesn't make matters any better when he says, with a shit-eating grin,

"Falling for me, already?"

Its now that Terri remembers she hasn't attempted to leave his arms, and she scrambles up and to her feet again, dusting herself off, and in the blink of an eye, she turns that sweet southern spitfiery charm back on,

"Ah shaddap, Tristan! I was damn near asleep waiting for you to hurry the hell up, you took like two centuries in there... Sheesh!"

Yeah..... Nice save, Terri. Good Job....

Her Royal Bytchness

Nevyrmorr isn't fooled in the least with Terri's agitated response. He noticed the goofy grin that momentarily flashed across her face. He noticed the noticeable sparkle in her eye that briefly shone. In that moment, his heart wanted to soar, but it didn't. It sank. He didn't want to fall in love again, but the Dark Warrior new he was in the fight of his life for he surely knew he was headed down that broken path he's often  travelled. Despite all his thoughts, he can't help but agitate Terri some more. It's just too much fun to resist.

"Do you notice your accent comes out more when you're pissed off?" Nev grins as he lets Terri stand on her own two feet.

"NO IT DON'T! Ah ain't got no damn accent!"

Terri "hmphs", stomping her foot. But, she already knows-

"... alright, maybe I do. A little."

Nev simply smiles. "Y'know....I don't care what your brother says, you really are cute when you're upset."

He shakes his head and shrugs.

"So, where we goin' tonight? We just gonna chill or what?"

"Yep, just chillin'. I'm childless, Claudia's out of town, so-

Terri freezes, and cocks her head sideways. She has a far-off look for a moment, as, she just now realized that her daughter, Claudia- the one from the future, I mean- is married to Nevyrmorr's brother.

Ah... dammit...

Terri blinks back, "So uh... yeah. We're just hangin' out. Maybe terrorize the locals? It's always fun watching drunk rednecks try to run."

Nev crinkles his nose at this thought, "Yeah, it is, though I don't drink."

"Me neither. Dulls my hatred, numbs my mean streak, and I become not-so-charming... you know, like I am right now." She flashes a huge, smartassed smile.

Nev shakes his head, "Scratch the bar thing, right. How about we go out and get something to eat, then?"

"Awesome, I love food!"

Then, she looks at herself.

"Uh... we gotta make a pit-stop, though. I smell of W2K swine... ew! And I refuse to shower in this building, there are too many creeps, and holes in the wall, and there's no telling what nasty bastard was in that shower last."

Nev rolls his his, sighs loudly, and shakes his head, "Uh, uh....I'm not waiting on your girly ass half the night so you can pick out the right socks to match your eyes."

Terri shakes her head, and under her breath, she says, "Who said I'll be wearing sock-

"What?"

"Nothing! I said you'll wait, dammit.... I had to wait for you. Pft, takin' your sweet ass time, just as bad as a woman, I tells ya!"

Nev just smirks as he rolls his eyes, "At least I don't argue with my self-"

"WHAT?!"

Nev shakes his head and turns Terri around, then shoves her slightly towards the exit, "Nothing, let's go before I collect Social Security."

"Don't make me kill you, Tristan. Then I gotta go through the trouble of cleaning up your damn bloody mess."

Nev giggles, he's having so much fun bugging the ever loving shit out of Terri and he's the only one who can get inside her head like this, "Now, don't start gettin' romantic. Let's go."

"I'm telling you, you're TWO SECONDS away from my foot gettin' all intimate with your ass."

Nev rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, we can do that at the hotel. I'm starving, let's go before JT Kash actually shows up again."

"I'm going, dammit! Shut up! Boys can't walk and talk shit at the same time, so you're obviously the one holdin' us up."

"Fine, fine!" Nev rolls his eyes, "Let's roll."  He points towards the exit and they start walking. Though, it's really not, Nev can't help but feel as if he's going on a date. He and Terri are just friends that like to kid each other a lot, but there' been too much sexual tension between them, lately. In fact, it's always been there. The last time he felt it this strongly was with Black Widow and that ended up with Nev burning her house down. He didn't want to go down that road again; that long, agonizing road to heartbreak. This must be why he feels nervous, because he knows it's possible that he could end up falling for Terri. The Raging Bytch she is, but her directness is what makes her sexy in Nev's eyes. Plus, around him, she always tend to soften up just a little bit more. The Dark Warrior shakes his head to shoo away all these amorous feelings, though he does feel excited, and finds himself not really wanting the feelings to go away. Tractor beam. No escape. Might as well not fight it.

After a short moment of not arguing, and only hearing the sound of their footsteps, Terri Lamin breathes in deeply, as she looks at him, but neither one stops walking.

"SO... What'll we have to eat? I like Mexican."

Nev looks Terri's voluptuous curves up and down. Terri's mother is full-blooded Mexican, and Terri is half. Nev smiles to himself then nods.

"Yeah....I do, too."

Minutes later at the hotel...

Terri grins, and she puts her head down to look at her feet as she walks along, less than a foot away from Nev, and, after she realizes that she's been quiet for too long, she smiles as she looks up to his face again.

"Almost there," she says, with a smirk at him. And, they walk around a corner, disappearing through glass doors, into the building.

Only a moment later, they're standing in a hallway, outside a door with a number, which we cannot see. Terri swings the door open and stands to the side, waving her arm around at the main room, after flicking on the light.

"Welcome to my temporary palace, Sir Tristan."

NevTerriNew.gif Nev + Terri - Wings picture by FatalSilence

"There may be something there that wasn't there before..."

A few minutes later, inside Terri Lamin's hotel room, we find Terri and Nev, and she shakes her head as she looks around at the place. It's no suite, but it's not a double-bed, one-room deal, either.

"It's not the best thing in the world, but.... USUALLY the only thing happening in here is sleepin'."

Terri shrugs, as she makes her way across the room, headed into the next room- the bathroom. She grins at Nev from the doorway,

"I'd invite you in, but things tend to get a lil hot... and kinda sticky in this sort of room. Ya know?"

And, she winks at him, as she goes into the room, but... she leaves the door just slightly cracked.
Whether or not Nev noticed, we don't yet know... but you gotta wonder whether she did it on purpose, or just not thinking....? Nev cocks a sly grin and thinks to himself as Terri is inside the bathroom,

"Only thing happening in here is sleeping...Heh,"

He looks around the lavish room,

"I can totally believe it."

Terri LaMin Dangerously is, by all means, a very attractive woman, but is by no means a whore. Nev shrugs and nods as he talks to himself again,

"No, she doesn't really let her feelings get to her."

Then, he thinks about all her temper has gotten her in to and the Dark Warrior shakes his head and swipes a hand in the air, laughing,

"Who'm I kiddin'? She ALWAYS lets her feelings get to her....just not like that...."

Nev looks straight into the open crack left open by Terri. He can see part of her athletic right leg as a small, black piece of clothing falls to it. Nev shakes his head again,

"Mistake my ass. She left that door open on purpose." A cold, nervous pain rises in Nevyrmorr's stomach as he eyes that black piece of underwear that Terri "just happened" to leave in full view of the Dark Warrior. He smirks, but with a smidgen of tenseness to it. His eyebrows arch up in a somewhat melancholy look. Nev grips the edge of the bed tightly, as he sits on it. It's as if he's on a roller coaster and not strapped in. He shakes his head and speaks, pleadingly,

"Please...not like this. Not this again."

On the opposite side of the door, Terri Lamin shuts off the shower- Nev probably never even noticed it had been running- but it only took a moment to clean up, as Terri only needed to make sure she smells nice. Only the tips of her hair are wet, because she had it tied up in a sloppy bun, as it didn't need washing. She wraps the towel around herself, out of view of the cracked door, and, as she steps out of the shower, she's unaware (or is she?) that Nev can see half of her through the crack, thanks to her reflection in the mirror. Terri cocks her head to the side, eyeing something that is out of Nev's view.

"Hey Tristan,"

She taps her chin.

"Red or black?"

Nev raises an eyebrow, "Huh?"

"Red or black? Pick one. I'm girly and undecisive on what color will match my Rage, remember?"

She hmphs, just slightly.
Nev shrugs, he shakes his head, having an idea of what she's talking about. He decides he'll bite and go for the punchline,

"Red or black WHAT?"

Terri laughs to herself, and even smacks her forehead, but, as we see things from her point of view... you can clearly see that she's looking at two shirts; one red, and one black. But, since he walked into it.... It's impossible to resist-

"My frilly girly thong, Tristan. I just can't survive without your opinion on the color of my butt-floss."

....

....

Terri can't help herself, she busts out laughing, "I'm kidding! Its shirts, dammit all."

A certain slight feeling of disappointment strikes Nev. "Umm...the black one...is fine," he says wiath a reserved sigh. He thinks to himself, "Am I really this much of a pig?"

Terri shrugs and steps forward, snatching the shirt off its hanger, and as she stretches her arms up to slip them into the sleeves, the towel falls- but the shirt falls into place, narrowly avoiding any free shots. Terri's head comes through the neck of the shirt, and she pulls the tie from her hair, letting it fall. Shaking her head back and forth to loosen her hair, Terri eyes fall on something and lock there.

The partially cracked door.

Terri Lamin smirks, and instantly- probably surprising Nev, but she doesn't care- she FLINGS the door wide open and stands there, arms crossed, tapping her foot... with nothing but a W2K Rage T-shirt on.

Nev raises his eyebrow. She has his attention, "Have you no shame?"

"Well that's a silly question, I am a Dangerously, afterall. Besides, you can't see anything. Much of anything."

Terri would usually smirk right about now, but she doesn't. Instead, her expression is pretty soft, and she cocks her head sideways. Nev rolls his eyes and crosses his arms,

"You ARE a tease."

Terri shakes her head, and all of a sudden... she loses it.

"DAMMIT TRISTAN! Would you freakin' pay attention? Pull yourself out of your own head, and look,"

She walks closer to him, and, it turns out she is wearing underwear. She probably slipped them on when he wasn't looking. Standing infront of him, Terri Lamin gently holds Nevyrmorr's chin, and lifts his face to face her. She leans close, with her forehead resting against his, and she speaks nearly in a whisper,

"I can't stand this shit, I was never any good at it, so I just gotta say it, and I gotta say it while I've still got balls enough to do it,"

She almost smiles, but not yet...

"Contrary to popular belief.... It's not easy to get near me- in any sort of way. Maybe I am a tease, but hey.... It got your attention, right??BR>
She shakes her head, and now the smile comes out.

“And that's exactly what I was trying to do. But I can't play cute and bat my eyelashes and all that crap. I'm not that kinda girl, you know that.?BR>
Nev says nothing yet, he just looks up at her. Even if he tried to speak, Terri wouldn't let him yet-

“Maybe I'm having a momentary fit of insanity....but if I'm not, Tristan, then I need for you to know one thing....?BR>
And, with that said, Terri tilts her head just slightly, and Nevyrmorr never had a chance to react before she closes the gap between his lips and hers, sealing what she couldn't quite say, with a kiss...

Her Royal Bytchness

Nevyrmorr can do nothing but close his eyes tightly and think, "Don't screw this up"  which is totally opposite of his thinking. Put bluntly, he does not want to be in this situation. Too many times has he fallen out of love and each time it hurts more and more, kinda like a scab wound that keeps being ripped open. Hurts so good. Nev falls back on the bed and can't help but feel excitement at this, at the thought of being with another woman that he has feelings for. Every woman he's made love to since his late fiance Cori's death in 2002, has been somebody he loved, at least he thought he did. Nonetheless, all those relationships have earned him the perjorative nickname of "Nevyrwhore."

In his arms, Terri seems to fit like the last piece of the puzzle. The puzzle where everything is finished, the puzzle where the term "All's well that ends well" rings true." Terri is uncharacteristically tender. In the ring, she earns her name "Queen of Hardcore" and "Raging Bytch." In this setting those nicknames fail her miserably. This is not Terri LaMin, first female W2K champion and six-time Women's champion, here she is Terri LaMin and nothing else. Here she need not fight or prove herself against an army of mysogonistic naysayers. Here, she needs simply to be.

As Nev and Terri's lips wrestle against each other's strength, all things fall away for Nev. Cori. Black Widow. Morganna. Amber. All forgotten, horrible past memories of another life. His concentration lies in only moving his hands in the exploration of the hostile territory that is Terri's body. For her entire eight-year career, Terri LaMin has fought to be respected as only a wrestler and not just more fodder for bikini matches. As violent as she's been, there never has been denying that this one hundred forty pounds of Confederate fury has always been as easy on the eyes as her matches were hard on them. For just about every man, a mere brushing contact with any part of Terri's body was grounds for execution. Terri's mama was good to her. Nev silently thanks her for this as Terri's ample chest presses against him and her hips squeeze against his.

His hands ease up her strong, athletic thighs. The woman never lets anybody touch her and he's taking full advantage of this situation. This woman has feelings for him, The "Ice Queen" Terri LaMin Dangerously is figuratively melting in his arms. So, here they are, two of W2K's most mysterious individuals, in each other's arms discovering things about the other. Things known only to their few confidants.

By this time, while Nev is taking advantage of Terri's well-earned athletic physique, she's taking advantage of his.  Her hands claw at the Dark Warrior's muscular, broad chest as she kisses every inch of it. Then, her hands run up and down Nev's hard, sinewy biceps, eventually gripping them with a vise-like tightness. Nev jerks Terri's head up towards him and she dives for his lips like a voracious carnivore. Instantly, his hands smack Terri's ass as her muscular posterior doesn't give an inch to his grip.

Terri lets out a small yelp as she didn't expect Nev to be so direct, "Mmm...yknow Mr. Wallace, you could lose a hand for that."

Nev chuckles, "I'm willing to take that risk."

Terri laughs along with him, "Ohhh, boy you are SO dead."

Tightly, Nev grips it as they continue to engulf each other's lips. Terri moans softly as things continue to get heavy. For a full three hours it's like this. Utterly, no sex. They are content to lie together in each other's arms simply enjoying the other's embrace. Eventually, sleep overcomes them and they slip into sweet oblivion. Nev lays on the right side of the bed and Terri is on the left. They lie there with Nev's left arm wrapped around Terri's shoulders while she snuggles up against him with her head on his chest and an arm slung around her lover's waist.

Utter bliss while Nev sleeps with Terri wrapped up in his embrace. He feels completely safe, as if Terri's hotel room is an impenetrable fortress. Nothing can harm him while he is with her, somebody he never thought he'd end up with. These thoughts are the last to fill his mind until he finally slips into oblivion.

Nev seems to be in a black pit, a black abyss where nothing but an entrance to a passageway lit by a dim, white light is visible. Nev walks into the passageway and as he enters, a blinding white light flashes as he closes his eyes and holds his hands in front of them. When he can see them again, he's at Black Widow and William Rodney Mercy's wedding. The minister says, "If there is anyone who objects to this woman marrying this man speak now...or forever hold your peace."

As he approaches the couple, Nev opens his mouth, wanting to scream "NO!!!!!," but nothing comes out, he's utterly mute. Instantly, Widow cuts a cold, deathly glare his way and growls through gritted teeth, "You were never good enough for me, Tristan. You were never there for me like Rodney. You always put yourself and your bullshit problems before me. I HATE you. When you die....the world will be better off."

With that, Widow produces a knife and dives it deep into his heart. As if nothing happened, Widow turns back around to the preacher and the ceremony procedes.

Nev holds his chest as the blood pours out onto the floor through his fingers, polluting his shirt. Then, Morganna comes steps into view. Again, the Dark Warrior is unable to speak. Morganna smirks, "You were never good enough for me. Nothing more than a mere notch on my headboard."

Morganna leans into Nev's ear and whispers, "You were never that good anyway."

Morganna steps back in front of Nev and smiles an impish smile, "Whatsa matter, love? I'm merely treating you like you've treated all women."

She punts him in the groin and Nev drops to the ground, but ever so slowly. As he falls, the screen flitters like a digital screen during a thunderstorm. Pixel by pixel, the scene falls into place as he hears the screams that he's tried to bury for the past six years...the screams of his former, hometown fiance Cori. Gunshots go off and Cori screams once more, piercing Nev's head like a thousand needles. She falls as he does. They both hit the ground at the same time. She stares into his eyes, with the shock of approaching death in her brown eyes. Nev reaches out for her, as if he's been given a second chance to save her. Her lips part, she utters these last few words as she dies...

"Tristan...why have you forgotten me?"

With that Cori's eyes flutter and eventually shut as her chest stops rising and falling. Nev opens his mouth to scream and a bloodcurdling shriek pierces the darkness. It seems like a few days, but only a few second, that he lays there. Terri's face looms above him as she knees beside him, looking down at him with a concerned look at her face. Nev stammers a response, "Terri, where am I? Help me, please! Take from here!"

She smiles and shakes her head.

"The only thing I'll be taking, my love...is this."

She reaches for Nev's chest as her hand enters where his heart is. All he can do is gasp as she violently rips his heart out of his chest. She rises, laughing, steps over him, and walks away. Before Nev closes his eyes, one more face comes into view...Amber. Her smug grin and laugh cut through his body worse than Terri's hand did. She raises a glistening, silver gun into view, pointing at his head.

"You never really thought you would actually be happy did you?"

She mockingly frowns as Nev's eyes are wide with horror.

"Aww....you did? That's just too bad."

Amber laughs horrifically as she cocks the hammer back on the gun and fires. The last thing Nev's sees is the bright sparks emanating from the barrel.

Nev sits up in a gasp, sweat is pouring all over his body. He looks down at Terri who's stone cold dead to the world as she sleeps. The young mutant hops out of bed and walks over to the window. He leans his right forearm against the window and shakes his head. The Dark Warrior looks back at Terri, then back at the window.

"I can't do this."
