The shot opens as HBO spots is ready to present “RAGE-LIVE�? The HBO sports music hits showing sime highlights of boxing, football, baseball and all other traditional American sports. From A-Rod hitting ahome run to Bernard Hopkins knocking out Oscar De La Hoya to a shot of the “Franchise�?Ryan Cain is delivering a huge super kick on to Power Trip. With the HBO-sports logo now covering the screen the W2K slowly fades into view as the HBO logo fades off. The cheering crowd is San Antonio Texas takes center stage. From “New Wave SUX�?signs to “FREAKS UNITE�? To, “Widow Marry Me�? many more as different fans endorse their favorite superstars. We’re taken to Joey and Trunks at ringside.
Joey: What a crowd we have tonight! We haven’t had a crowd this loud in ages! What a Main Event we have set up for you. Heavily favorite Freaks look to capture tag-team gold for what is it? The third? Fourth time in W2K? It can be history in the making.
Trunks: But look at who they have to face. The Champions, first of all. An underrated SPEED, who is one of the most agile and quickest wrestlers out there. JJ Cool J, the well known underdog who any given day can probably beat anyone.
Joey: Then you have former W2K Champion Black Widow tagging with Vincent Gunn. Gunn’s leg is not 100% folks but it hasn’t stopped him from coming out weekly and putting up a fight. He’s put up a fight with every opponent he’s had.
Trunks: But what about this? The New Wave look to be a dark horse in this one. Eric Star and Lesmond have been working together. They seem to have good chemistry.
Joey: The Freaks have been tagging for years. You cant match their chemistry. But you’re correct. Folks, as you know, Anarchy is just days away. But it will only be on Pay-Per-View!! Ratings were great last week! W2K defeated R2K in an amazing Hell in a Cell match�?
The jumbo-tron lights up. Jerm is sitting at his office with feet planted on the wooden desk.
Jerm: See Joey. That’s why I cant believe you still have a job here. Now this is the part that you both shut up and I talk. Now firstly, I would like to congratulate Dante Cross on qualifying to the Anarchy Rumble after his illegal tactic last week. You’re on the number two spot.
Jerm claps sarcastically as the fans boo. He slowly starts clapping slower.
Jerm: That’s what you get! After the conspiracy last week. After JT Kash, probably, hired Superbowl refs to call the shots last week during the huge 12 man battle between W2K and R2K I cant help but punish those who got in my way! No Bud-Reject is headlining my big show WrestlePalooza! Dante Cross will be forced out of here, eventually!
The fans boo as Jerm just shakes his head. He gets his feet off the desk and leans forward.
Jerm: The others will be punished in due time. But first I have to make an example out of Cross. See what you did Cross? See what you put Dante through now? Now its your turn. Last year the W2K championship was put on the line inside the Anarchy Rumble. This year we follow tradition. You’ll be defending your title against the rest of the roster Cross!! But that’s if you even make it to the Rumble as Champion. Because I want a huge singles match for the W2K title. Well, at least that way, even if you win you’ll be worn down enough. W2K Champion Cross defends his crown against, another fellow Anarchy Rumble entrant, Lesmond right before the Anarchy Rumble begins. Frankly I don’t care for none of you both. If you beat the living hell of each other before the Anarchy wins then better for me. You see Lesmond, if you do beat Cross in a singles match, you’ll have to defend it just a few minutes later against the roster. You’ll be known as the one hit wonder. So JT Kash and Dante Cross can go to hell. Veronica Beck and Lesmond can go to hell. Cross can go to hell. All these egos can go to hell. I rule around here. The people *I* *WANT* *TO* *SEE* shall prevail! That’s why the future W2K Champion Trey Trauma is Number 30. It’s a 50% ownership thing, you wouldn’t understand.
Jerm winks at the camera as the fans go on in a boo frenzy. Scene fades to an HBO boxing PPV promotion. |
