The shot opens backstage where SPEED, isolated from JJ Cool J is seen in the back drinking some W2Kola already suited up with his tag-title over his shoulder, ready for his title defense later on. Suddenly he sees a familiar face backstage. He just smiles and approaches�? Lesmond.
Lesmond: What are you smiling about?
SPEED taps his title which is wrapped over his shoulder.
SPEED: You’re just funny. Cant I smile at a joke? Because that’s what you are.
Lesmond gets right on SPEED’s face, both men stand nose to nose.
Lesmond: You’re not gonna win.
SPEED just smiles and shakes his head.
SPEED: You don’t get it do you? You fake-ass Legend. You never-have-been loser. Didn’t you learn anything at WrestleGeddon. Since you talk about being so unstoppable�?
*TWACK*. From behind Eric Star nails SPEED hard. He knees down as SPEED tries getting back up.
Star: You talk to much you know that, Pizon?
SPEED hits Star with an elbow and quickly comes to his feet. He begins to crawl with Lesmond but eventually Eric Star gets back up and helps take SPEED down. Lesmond grabs the Steel chair and slaps it hard on to SPEED’s thigh. He begins to nail SPEED with the edge of the chair.
Star: You aint so bad now.
Eric Star kicks SPEED across the ribs. The crowd explode with boos but suddenly JJ Cool J is in the picture with a kendo stick. New Wave run down the hall, with their damage done. JJ Cool J invites them to come fight him as the crowd goes crazy watching from the Jumbo-tron. He doesn’t follow however, to aid his fallen partner.
