We switch backstage, away from the intense in-ring action for a few moments, in order to catch something that is apparently of importance. Fans would certainly agree anyway, as we soon catch a glimpse of the returning Black Widow, dressed in her sexy ring attire, causing more than a few whistles and cat calls from the male portion of our audience. She is stood talking to a few stagehands, perhaps about her time in Mexico, but either way, as we pan out, we find her partner in crime for tonight, Vincent Gunn. He is stood out of earshot of her conversation with the stagehands, getting himself a bottle of water from a nearby vending machine, also in his own ring attire, and we can assume some kind of knee brace underneath due to his injury. As he whistles away, inserting a dollar bill into the machine, we see a little something else off to his right, slightly behind him, a little something he probably won’t be pleased to see.
“I can’t believe you’ve gone this far Vin, you’ve stooped to a whole new low in my eyes.?/FONT>
Vincent closes his eyes and almost cringes as he hears the all too familiar voice, the voice of W2K Championess, Isabella Taylor. He turns around to face her limping severely as he does so, noticing that she too is in her ring attire, her Championess Title shining beautifully on her shoulder, Isabella herself looking as fantastic as usual. Usually her comments towards him are sarcastic, verging on slightly malicious, but right now she isn’t grinning or joking around, she’s more than serious. Vincent simply overlooks this as her being in a bad mood however, letting out a loud sigh, slightly over exaggerated, before replying to her.
Vincent: And why the hell would I care about making you a little angry Iz?
Isabella: Contrary to popular belief, it’s not always all about me Vin.
Vincent simply rolls his eyes, turning away from Isabella for just a second, reaching down to get his bottle of water as it tumbles to the bottom of the machine, careful not to bend his injured knee as he goes.
Isabella: This is about her, about what you’re doing here..
Vincent follows Isabella’s hard glare, as it falls directly upon Widow as she continues to converse with the two men, delving into some interesting story about Mexico.
Vincent: What’s wrong? Jealous of her as well as Sapphire now?
Vincent turns back to face Isabella, another hop to avoid putting pressure on his damaged leg, a slight grin on his face, as Isabella rolls her eyes, her patience running very low at this stage, her match is coming up next after all.
Isabella: Get over yourself for one second and focus on the issue for God’s sake Vin.
Vincent: I would if I knew what the issue was here Iz.
At this point, Isabella dives forward, getting real close to Vincent, not in a sexual manner, but an aggressive one, her face only a few inches from his, her tone very angry.
Isabella: If you knew what she’d done.. if you knew who she really was.. this isn’t about some damn wrestling match Vin.. she’s done things.. things to people that I lov-
Clearly intending on saying the word “love? Isabella chokes up, not able to say anymore, as Vincent looks her over intently, unsure of her sincerity here, though we know it is genuine. Dominic Tirentino meant a lot to Isabella, and as far as we know, Black Widow killed him. This constitutes some serious hate issues between the two women that Vincent may not know about at this stage. And given Vincent’s association with Dominic and the gang, Isabella’s feeling of betrayal is understandable. Not being able to say anything more on the issue, Isabella pulls back a step or two, shaking her head at the ground, before looking up directly into his eyes, the feeling of betrayal written all over her face.
Isabella: Forget it.. you have a knack for turning your back on old friends, what’s a few more, eh?
Not able to look at him any longer, Isabella’s gaze hits the ground, as she storms off past him towards the ring, shooting a piercing glare in Widow’s direction as she passes her. Widow ignores it for the time being, as she is into telling her story, going back to it quickly after Isabella passes. Vincent however, simply stares after her, a look of confusion over his face, obviously wondering what brought all of this on, and unsure of whether Isabella is genuinely hurt or whether she is simply faking it to garner something else. Either way, we fade out here, leaving Vincent to hop over to Widow and join in with her conversation, perhaps get a few last minute tactics for their match in, as we fade back out to ringside for the women’s triple threat contest, involving Isabella, Amy Valentine and our newest W2K sensation, Glory.
