[ The scene switches to backstage outside the locker room of Christian Michaels. Paul Lombardi is standing by with a mic and a one time former W2K champion. Of course we mean CM. Michaels looking ready to go for his match a little later on with JT Kash. But before that, Paul wants to get his thoughts

Paul: Christian, you are minutes away from what could quite possibly be the match of your career. Tonight you face JT Kash, one on one, to see who is named the God of Wrestling for this year. Tell us, whats going through your mind right now?

CM: Right now? Well I'm hoping that I don't trip on my way to the ring. Hahaha

[ Lombardi laughs as well.

CM: In all seriousness though, the one thing on my mind right now is JT Kash. Ya know, I've been in this position before with him. Its him an me as the last two. The winner between us gets the glory of being the God of Wrestling.....Meanwhile the loser is left to dream about what might've been. So right now my mind is focused on him. I mean even as we speak, I'm playing over all the tapes that I've seen on Jake in my mind.

Paul: I see. And tell us Christian, what does winning this match....this moniker mean to you?

[ The Southern Heartthrob looks at Paul and arches an eyebrow slightly.

CM: What does this match mean to me?

[ Paul nods

CM: Six, almost seven, years ago when I stepped into this business I made a list. And that list was of goals that I wanted to accomplish in my career. Now alot of those goals I have accomplished, and there's still a few that I haven't. But through it all, there have been two that sat at the top of the list. No matter what, they've been one an two. Number two is win the W2K championship. And it doesn't matter how many times I do it, that goal will stay there. Number one though, is to be the God of Wrestling.

[ Now its CM who nods.

CM: Two years ago I had the chance to accomplish that goal, but I didn't get the job done. Tonight is my second chance to get it done, and I *will* get it done. Because too me, being the God of Wrestling means that you are *THEE* pinnacle of this business. I mean alot of people just up and proclaim themselves as deities, but when I win tonight......Its official.

Paul: Well surely JT Kash is going to do his best to keep you, once again, from accomplishing that goal in your career. What, in your mind, are you going to need to do? To advoid the same outcome as two years ago?

CM: Well a good start for me would be not going through the ring. Thats one of the plans I have going into this match. Another thing I have to do is push myself past my limits. Once I've gone past my own, I then need to find Jake's and go beyond them. But I can't just come out here like some sort of insane luchador either. Tonight you're going to really see why I'm the protege of Nic E Dangerously. Cause I'm going to be adapting to whatever's thrown at me in that ring by Jake.

Paul: And, regardless of the outcome tonight, what are your plans for W2K?

[ The Heartthrob shrugs his shoulders.

CM: Honestly I think I'd like to challenge for the W2K championship next. Just like its been two years since I had an oppurtunity like tonight's, its been two years since I was the champion of W2K. Thats quite awhile for that title to be away from home. Wouldn't you agree?

Paul: But what about Dangerously? Everyone knows he loves that title more than anything else.

CM: Right now I think Nic is satisfied with being the ICWA champion. Cause like the title here, its got a proud heritage and meaning to it. And holding a title like that....I think it means alot to Nic. Certainly alot more than still being the reigning champion of Word Life Entertainment or whatever the name of that company was. So yeah, I think Nic is occupied enough with the ICWA title not mind me making a run at the W2K championship.

Paul: If not?

CM: Lets not cross that bridge unless we have to. I rather enjoy not getting butchered on national television.

Paul: Fair enough. In that case, who do you see as the favorite in tonight's W2K title match?

CM: I'm gonna have to give the edge to Kutter. I mean there's no doubt that David is a great wrestler an all......But he's just too damned together about this match. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks, you need to be afraid for your life to beat Kutter. I know what I'm talking about, cause its the only way I beat that gruntin, snortin, fartin beast five years ago. I was sacred out of my damned wits and thus I was able to truly do whatever was necessary to win. For me? That was wear a piece of iron under a hockey jersey and just take the GORE. Like Bret Hart did from Goldberg. But David's all sure of his wrestling ability being able to take Kutter down. Mark my words David, it won't be enough.

[ A cue is given to Paul off-camera.

Paul: Thanks for your time Christian, but I'm being told its just about time for your match. Good luck tonight and may the best man win.

CM: Thanks Paul, I plan on it.
