The W2K arena is consumed by darkness as an eerie smoke begins to fill the stage. Strange thunder starts rumbling around the arena.
Joey: Every time Skylar comes out here I get chills.
Trunks: At least he’s not with that weirdo Exodus anymore. Man that was a pretty dangerous duo.
As the song Mother Machine Head by Mushroomhead begins to play. Skylar steps out through the smoke and onto the stage as the arena is filled with boos. Skylar spreads his arms out to the side and tilts his head back rolling his neck. Skylar looks to his left at the pit filled with explosion boards. He looks to the right at the pit filled with chairs. The walls of the pits both lined with razor sharp barbed wire.
Trunks: This will be the fourth and final FTW Cage match held in W2K at the W2K arena.
Joey: It’s going to be hard to top the previous, but I have a feeling this match is going to get bloody in a hurry.
Trunks: One question, Joey.
Joey: Shoot.
Trunks: There’s about fifteen tables stacked on top of each other between the cage and the ring. Those tables are just a few feet below the scaffold itself. How in the HELL did they get those tables stacked up so high…and why.
Joey: I have no idea who did it or what sick and perverse thought was going through their head. If you fans remember right, last year at Wrestlegeddon. Black Widow was choke slammed off the scaffold through about ten tables that were ON FIRE. She hasn’t been the same since.
Trunks: Did she even wrestle after that!?
Joey: She made a brief return to the ring before her pregnancy I believe.
Skylar is now down at ringside checking out the massive structure in front of him. The cage constructed from solid steel bars. No chain linked fencing around this tower of doom. Blue steel bars stretching up about twenty feet, curving inward at the top where the scaffold hangs down inside the cage from the top of the arena. The cage walls itself drop down at ringside, similar to the size of the WWE’s hell in a cell cage. Skylar takes a good long look as his music continues to blare in the background. Sky shakes the cage wall testing it’s durability, and it’s extremely sturdy. Barely budging an inch. Skylar steps around the cage wall towards the open door as he slowly steps in and examines the inside of the cage. Tables are stacked up on the floor between the cage and the ring on one side. Several glass sheets and light bulb tubes on another side. Attached to the walls are various weapons. Skylar looks up and see the scaffold hanging above the ring within the cage itself, a tall black ladder stands on the scaffold as we see the XW championship belt hanging down from a strand of razor wire above all of that. Skylar’s music is abruptly cut off and there’s a rumbling of the crowd.
“DUE TO THE GRAPHIC NATURE OF THIS CONTENT…LISTENER DISCRETION…IS ADVISED.�?/FONT>
The opening chords to Edgecrusher blast through the arena as the green strobe lights flash all over the crowd and onto the stage illuminating the figure of Cross standing center stage. Cross raises one arm up as the lights in the arena come back to show a huge ball of barbed wire in his hand. The crowd goes crazy, there’s not one butt in a seat now. Everyone is standing up screaming and throwing their arms around like a bunch of blood thirsty vampires.
Joey: This has become an FTW Cage tradition. Cross will do something out of this world with barbed wire in every match.
Trunks: Joey I’ve got a feeling we’re about to see the worst come out in both of these men. We’ve seen how brutal Cross can get in these environments. And believe me, it’s something you should put the kids to bed for.
Joey: And Skylar is as sick as they come, Trunks. This match should be nothing short of a slaughter on both ends.
Skylar starts to slowly make his way up the ramp as Cross drops the barbed wire and stands there ready for Skylar. Skylar takes off running towards Cross and then suddenly stops. Skylar starts smiling as the crowd gets even LOUDER.
Joey: WHO IS THAT!?
They’re booing like crazy!
Trunks: NO! NOT�?/FONT>
EXODUS IS BEHIND CROSS!
Joey: Exodus!!
Skylar points behind Cross with that sinister grin and Cross turns around to get hit on top of the head with a chair. Cross drops to one knee, stands back up gritting his teeth and shaking it off. Exodus hits him again. Cross’s knees buckle but he keeps his ground. Cross with a loud yell and his face turning red gets one more chair shot that finally drops him. The chair is absolutely demolished at this point. Exodus drops the chair as Skylar joins his former brother in paint on the stage where they both pick Cross up to his feet. Exodus and Skylar have Cross bent over, and they both pick him up for a power bomb. They slowly walk Cross over next to the explosion pit.
Joey: THE MATCH HASN’T EVEN STARTED YET!
Trunks: THEY’LL BREAK HIM IN HA-
CRACK!! CRACK!!
Joey: IS THAT!?
Exodus and Skylar both fall to their knees as Cross rolls off Exodus�?shoulders and lands on all fours on the stage. Behind the two fallen opponents the crowd cheers at the return…of Dante Cross!
Trunks: DANTE!? HE’S STILL UNDER CONTRACT TO BUD!
Exodus stands back up and Dante swings the kendo, Exodus catches it and rips it out of Dante’s hands. Exodus drops the kendo and the two start trading rights and lefts like crazy. Skylar gets up and goes to stomp on Cross, but as he lifts his leg Cross grabs his other leg and trips Skylar up knocking him down. Cross gets on top of Sky and starts raining down bombs. On the other side in front of the pit of chairs. Dante has Exodus under control. Beating the painted man down to size. Skylar reaches out and grabs the barbed wire and rakes Cross�?eyes with it causing the big man to roll off of him. Sky quickly gets up and turns around as Dante has Exodus hooked up for his Game Time move.
Joey: GAME TIME INTO THE PIT!?
Skylar rushes over and hits Dante from behind. Exodus is free now as the two double team Dante. Cross is holding his face on the other side as we see blood start to pour out from under his hands. The two of them take turns punching Dante over to the other side where Cross is near the explosion pit. Dante gets head kick from Exodus and stumbles between the two pits with his back facing the pit of explosives. Dante is teetering about to fall in when Exodus runs at him…RELEASE OVER HEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX SENDS EXODUS INTO THE PIT!! SPARKS SHOOT UOT EVERYWHERE AS SMOKE FILLS THE STAGE AREA!!
“HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!�?/FONT>
Joey: OH MY GOD!!
Trunks: I SMELL FLESH…BURNING DISGUSTING FREAKY FLESH!!
Joey: IT’S HORRIBLE!
The camera zooms in on the lifeless body of Exodus as smoke is barreling out all around him. His clothes burnt and his flesh charred. As we go back to the stage we see Dante down on one knee taking a shot to the face by Skylar with a kendo stick. Dante holds the side of his head as Skylar steps over him in a piledriver position. Cross gets back to his feet and rushes over…CANADIAN DESTROYER INTO THE PIT OF CHAIRS!!
“BROKEN NECK! BROKEN NECK! BROKEN NECK!�?/FONT>
Trunks: That’s it he’s dead! BUD is going to sue…wait a minute…WE’RE OUT OF BUSINESS. CHOKE ON THAT ROXY!!
Joey: TRUNKS! DANTE CROSS MAY HAVE JUST BEEN PARALYZED…HOLY SHIT!
Trunks: WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!
Joey: SCREW YOU HE’S A HUMAN BEING!
Trunks: SCREW ME!?
Here it comes�?/FONT>
Trunks: THAT’S WHAT YOUR MOTHER SAID!!
Joey: …sigh…It never ends.
Skylar slowly gets back to his feet as Cross kneels down and reaches into the pit after him but gets a chair cracked over his skull instead. Cross falls back as Skylar drags himself out of the pit where Dante lies face down. Sky throws the chair on the stage and picks Cross up…DDT ON THE CHAIR! Cross rolls off leaving a puddle of blood on the chair where he landed.
