No. I never did get my data restored so the community just languishes there. I don't know why they were unable to retrieve my stuff but they didn't and I don't have the heart to start all over although I do have everything stored on my PC and/or here at "White Canvas." Maybe one day I'll do it all over again but not right now. Thanks Evie for dropping in here. Figure a post or two a couple of times a week should satisfy the MSN community gurus. |

| Things are pretty quiet where I live -- I haven't had any trick or treaters since my Grandson and the neighbor kids became teenagers. |

I had about 15-20 trick or treaters. Didn't know how many bags of candy to buy so rather wanting to be safe than sorry, bought 2 humongous bags of M&M's and ended up giving most of it away. Knew I'd eat it all if kept around the house. Now for Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving but it's quickly becoming the forgotten holiday. Christmas is (and has) taken the attention away from Thanksgiving and isn't that a shame? |

That's so true. I went out last night to get my evening newspaper from the mail box and couldn't believe my neighbor down the road had his icicle lights covering his house and already lighted!!
It is beginning to look like Christmas, though. This morning the towns down in ski country (about 50 miles south of me) are getting snow at the rate of 2 inches an hour! Several schools are closed and it is to keep up most of the day. Guess I will go out today and have my snow tires put on before it hits us. |

Merry Christmas Evie. I guess y'all have snow by now. Funny, when one goes without (either sun.......or snow) then we miss it. I don't really miss snow as much as I miss the idea of snow and the atmosphere that it creates complete with fireplaces etc. Do you have RS' E-Mail addy? Somehow, I lost it along the way. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.........................I know, but your "little toy" doesn't do all of the goodies that my "bad boy", (oops make that girl for LuluDell,) does. You can't download music and listen to it while you work and you can't download pictures and you can't........................................................ LOL LOL  |
