Apple German Chocolate Cake
1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling 1 (18 1/4-ounce) package German chocolate cake mix 3 eggs 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Pour apple pie filling into blender. Cover and process until apples reach 1/4-inch chunks. Turn into mixing bowl. Add cake mix and eggs. Beat on medium speed for 5 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle walnuts and chocolate chips on top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting. Serves 12 to 16.
