Foods that cause acne

One of the most simple, affordable and best natural acne treatments is to simply adjust your diet. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables and less processed foods that contain sugars, oils, fats and milk products.

There are many arguements about which foods may cause acne. The fact is, your body is not the same as every other body.

Some other person might be able to eat french fries and drink milk and not get acne, but you might find that some foods cause a break out every time you eat them. When that happens, you will need the best natural acne treatments to clear up your skin. It may be easier to eat right and avoid acne, than to use the best natural acne treatments to correct the problem.

The only way to find out what works for your skin is to try avoiding some suspect foods. Some people with sensitive skin can get acne anytime they eat deep fried foods, ice cream, chocolate, peanut butter, creamy salad dressings, french fries, buttered toast, macaroni and cheese, refried beans, mayonaise, sugar, corn syrup, etc.

One of the best natural acne treatments is being careful to read the labels on many packaged foods. When you do, you will see vegetable oil or corn syrup listed as a main ingredient.

Many crackers, cookies, breads, frozen dinners, etc. are full of oils and/or corn syrup. These oils and liquid sugars can clog your pores and cause acne. Soda pop is mostly corn syrup.

Stress Reduction

Worry, stress and lack of sleep can upset the body and create acne and skin problems. Try taking a shower before bed to relax yourself. This also cleans and hydrates your skin and hair before you go to sleep.

Some people get acne from the products they use on their hair, such as styling gels. These products come off onto their pillow case and then it ends up on their facial skin. Change your pillowcase often. Buy extras.

Another of the best natural acne treatments is to gently clean your skin with pure glycerine soap. Some of these soaps include aloe vera or vitamin e, which is a nice added benefit to your skin.

Our favorite glycerine soap is the Clearly Natural brand. Their three bestsellers are Unscented, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. This soap only costs about one dollar.

We suggest you use this clear soap with a very soft, natural boar bristle shaving brush. Yes the ones that men used to use to make a lather before canned shaving creme was invented.

I know it sounds odd that this is one of the best natural acne treatments, but you have to try it to believe it.

Put the clear bar of glycerine soap into a plastic cup, bowl or container. Run warm water over the soap and the brush. Pour the water out of the bowel so just the moistened bar of soap is left there. Now swish the wet brush around in the bowel and on the soap until you make a rich lather.

Gently, very gently lather your face with the soapy brush. The genuine natural bristles are very, very soft and the hundreds of tiny strands clean out the pores of your skin. If you buy a cheap imitation brush, the bristles will not be so soft and it might irritate your skin. Get the genuine article. It only costs about five dollars.

Now rinse completely. Make sure to get all of the soap off of your skin. This ritual is most easily done in the shower each morning. It is one of the very best natural acne treatments you can try.

Some of our editors uses half a bar of the aloe vera and half a bar of the vitamin e. We cut the bars in half and place one half of each bar into our bowl or cup. Then when we swish our shaving brush around we get the benefits of both aloe and vitamin e combined in a healthy lather.

Do this simple facial cleansing once every day, in the morning, and after a week to ten days you should notice an improvement. If your skin is still oily, try doing this twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed.

If your skin is super sensitive, try using the clear unscented bar only.
