I did the "dog-sit" routine Friday night for my Sister while she drove her grandson to Little Rock to catch a plane back home to Florida this morning. My "prize" for dog-sitting was a dozen, fresh-baked (warm when they went into the box) Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Wish I could share them with you! No way I can eat them all before they go stale. Do you think I could freeze some and have them thaw out again as edible? |

Well, for one thing, Kremes change. They're one way after ten minutes, and another after three hours. Now those little ones wrapped in cellophane in the 7-11 store, from Hostess, don't change, don't go stale, and are cheaper. You can use them as door stops at your house, as tired stops for your truck, and as hockey pucks. You can slip one in your back pocket so folks is thinkin' you been ridin the bulls with your chewin tabacky. You can skip them across the water in games of skippin stones, and nobody got rocks that can skip better. If one of your lug nuts goes bad, you can screw them on for a temporary hold and fix. You can use one in place of the rag for your gas cap, and after all that, you can still eat 'em if yer hungry, and they taste just the same too. |

AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You know...you speak truth. Those nasty things are just NOT fit for consumption. Have you ever had a Packzi? (pronounced 'poonch-key') The Polish community in the Detroit area has Packzi day, Fat Tuesday, and right before Lent, these folk make these donuty creations that pack enough fat and calories to get you all the way through to easter. Not lying...for the sake of my arteries, I couldn't ever eat one. The thought was a bit gaggy to me...rofl... |

Pikes, you slay me!!!! Looks like those Hostess cakes are as handy to keep around as Duct Tape (or "Duck Tape" as I've recently seen in the stores! ) Jen, are those "Packzi" things like Funnel Cakes? First one of those I ever saw (and had to try to eat, of course,) was at the NJ State Fair back in the late '70's.... Powdered sugar everywhere!!! Now, if you want a good cookie with a little powdered sugar, try those Italian Pizzelles (or however they spell it....) My "Marvy Man's" Grandmother (who was born in Italy, but came to USA as a teen,) made the BEST I've ever had. Bet they're eating them in Heaven now..... |

I saw a Packzi. Won't tell you what it was floating in, because I don't know. But it wasn't anything I recognised. Cool thing about those little donuts is you can fit three of them inside your duct tape roll, four and maybe five if you squish them and sit on them. Then you got your duct tape and your snack all in one place. The duct tape roll helps 'em keep their shape too. You can use them in your oil filter too, and afterward, you gotta nice little dunked donut to nibble on. Again, they retain their flavor, even after 100,000 miles. |

go Here and you'll find a recipe...this one is mild as for fat grams etc. The place in Hamtramck (I'd like to buy a vowel) brags about making them uber fat filled and calorie laden! |

Hamtramck The etymolopy of that word came from when the first Packzi was made. Observers watched the process, could not believe it was food, and uttered something that came out sounding like hamtramck. Somewhere in there was a sneeze, a gag, or some kind of embarrassing bodily function. |

...and all that were left were consonants! |

That's a production of vowel movement. |

Actually when you eat all those Paczki's, you get consonanpated. |

If one were to combine the languages of Poland and Hawaii, would one eventually get another language with BOTH consonants and vowels? |

Then you'd speak Pawaii-ish! |

If you want to hear nothing but Hawaiian vowels, listen to the Mormon Tab and Apple Choir sing. If you like words in your music, try Robert Shaw. |

You folks are most definitely too much. rofl! Gryphon, thanks for the tip on berry freezing. Sorry I couldn't help you with them Krispy Kremes. Gonna have to make a special trip up to Tacoma just for Krispy Kreeme when we get back. The first thing I always miss here is mild (non-spicy) food. |
