In my linguistic, I spell it Missed. For me, no game is. Then again I also spell mall with a "u."

Picked up kettles last night, then went on the soup wagon run to serve the bridge people Christmas dinner. Took a ton of bread, salad fixings, pies and vegetables to the Senior Center for Christmas Day dinner today: Army brought the turkey and ham. After all that, joined the rest of the family, sharing dinner with a guy who recently was laid off from his job, and his family.

Nice to have kids old enough to more appreciate this aspect, than as recipients of an army of toys and gadgets not nearly so fulfilling.

I rather think we as a nation are only as great as we treat our poorest, and most unfortunate citizens. Instead of the gift thing, this year we all decided to use Christmas to enrich and empower our desperate people, instead of the merchants of the mauls. Thing is, this commitment has to go on beyond just a token generosity at Christmas. Adversity doesn't relent, and the kindness needed at Christmas, really to become a daily event.

I have a hunch given the economic turns, a lot more Americans stepped back to look more closely at a greater meaning of Christmas this year, than in past years. Maybe that will not only become a trend, but an extention from which we can really do something.

God bless each of you, for what you do. I appreciate how you give your heart to God through each other, and encourage you to give your hand to man with the same cheer.
