It is with great honor that I am able to annouce none other than one of my best friends and sobriety brother, Montrell (Monty) Cavalier as the California correspondent.

Monty and I more or less were crazy drug addicts together and got sober together. You can imagine that you our friendship is very special indeed.

Bear in mind that Monty is quite busy and already has many commitments but will be available to our membership and audience. His e-mail address is posted in his profile (montyrepo) and under "California" on the "Meth Project" webpage, http://groups.msn.com/backtothebasicsplease/methprojectg.msnw

Our focus at the moment for California will be to continue to build a relationship with "Stepping Stone" in San Diego. This is a very large addiction inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative service and facility catered to the gay, lesbian, and trangendered community. From there, we will continue to connect the dots in the San Diego area.

I am awaiting responses from organizations in Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Francisco.

Thanks Monty for coming on board. We look forward to more activity and events coming from the west coast
