All,
Quite a bit of work has been done reaching out to numerous organizations!
The paperwork and license forms have been received for our non-profit corporation filing which will be filed with the Arizona Corporations Commission, the Arizona Revenue Service, and under the U.S. 501 (c) 3 code. We will continue to search for suitable assistance in this area to assure that all of the paperwork is processed correctly.
In January after the board of directors has been decided upon and the articles or incorporation has been agreed upon, we will launch the process.
In the mean time, myself and those interested will be asked to gain membership for all of the user groups and persistent encouragement of dialogue consisting of good ideas would be a good start. We will; however, leave the MSN Group out of the campaign as the lights will be going off here soon.
I will be focusing quite a bit of my own time trying to build the Multiply, Aimoo, and Myspace groups/profiles. Facebook frustrates me personally and this was something Ed stated that he would handle. The Google group is another interest, especially for those who enjoy simple and user friendly functions albeit not that great for diversified subject posting.
Anyhow folks, that is the agenda. Of course, I am not asking you to recruit your friends or others as a requirement of any membership but out of your own interests of your group(s). This is what you make of it
The forums and blogs on the website, www.backtothebasicsplease.com do not require membership or recording of personal information and are rated (as previously noted) on the very top listings of Google and MSN.
We will also be seeking more management and more correspondents for the ~Meth Outreach~ program and the ~Urban to Rural Outreach~ program. I need commitments in these areas. If a state is not well represented because we're simply waiting on a correspondent to get with it, then the representation suffers. If you can't do the job, step aside so we can seek someone who can.
That's the agenda folks. Yes, we are an evolving organization. That does not mean members can't talk, we welcome the dialogue and hope it continues; however, we are seeking people that will get into action and participate in their local communities and who will use our resources to help build more & better tools for better communities.
There are thousands upon thousands of talk groups out there and that's great. We will continue to be one of them but we will aspire to get our hands dirty and DO SOMETHING in and for our communities
