Brandon --

Vote for Change: Register to vote now Think of all the people you know -- your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. What if every one of them voted on Election Day?

That's a lot of votes.

But odds are, many of them aren't registered -- or aren't sure if they are.

Now there's an easy way to learn your status and get registered. Our new one-stop voter registration site, VoteForChange.com, lets you do it all: check your registration status, register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and find your early voting site or polling location.

Take a minute today to check out VoteForChange.com, and encourage your friends and family to do the same:

http://my.barackobama.com/vfc

In just the past few weeks, 200,000 people have used VoteForChange.com to register to vote. That's a remarkable accomplishment, and we're well on our way to our goal -- 1,000,000 people using VoteForChange.com to register to vote before the election.

We're counting on all of our supporters to help reach this goal by forwarding this email to friends and family.

This election is going to be incredibly close, and we need every single vote we can get to win. In competitive races up and down the ballot in all 50 states, even just a handful of votes can be enough to push Democratic candidates over the top.

But almost everywhere in the country, there are only a couple of weeks left before your registration deadline.

VoteForChange.com makes it easier than ever to confirm your registration. Instead of tracking down the right forms, all you need to do is answer a few basic questions and you'll be ready to vote.

If you're not sure if you're registered or if you have any questions, take a minute to visit the site and make your voice heard on Election Day:

Together, we can turn the tide of the past eight years and keep building our 50-state movement to bring about the real change this country needs.

But we all need to vote -- and first, we all need to be registered.

Thanks for all that you do,

Jon

P.S. -- There are lots of ways to get this important information out there. Help spread the word by adding www.VoteForChange.com to your email footer, or share it with friends on online social networks.

Getting as many people as possible registered to vote, and then making sure they go to the polls, is going to take all of us working together. Thanks.

Hello Friend,

Today, I'm going to ask you to do something simple, but so important. Get at least one person registered to vote. If it's you, register now. If you're already registered, get someone you know to register.

One of the biggest enemies of getting real change and making a real difference in our politics is apathy. When more people take a stake in our politics and our democracy, we can break the power of the right-wing insiders who work for the rich and not for the rest of us. The lobbyists and their power brokers lose out when the American people rise up.

And the most important thing we can do is vote, and get others to vote. Now, you are probably already registered, but maybe you have recently moved and need to re-register. Or maybe someone in your family needs to register. Well, Barack Obama's campaign and the Democratic National Committee have set up a great website where you can register to vote.

It's incredibly easy, it takes just a couple of minutes, and it works. So take a minute, check out the website, and if you need to, register.

And, most importantly, get at least one other person to register. Forward this email to as many people as you can and ask them to register someone to vote. If we can get a tidal wave of new people to the polls, we can wash out the apathy and the cynicism and get a new start in this country, get a politics that works for normal people and not just the well-off and the well-connected.

Already hundreds of thousands of people have registered on voteforchange.com. That's hundreds of thousands of people ready to vote for change in this country, hundreds of thousands who can stand with us to bring about the new government our country so desperately needs.

Try to get at least one more, but get as many as you can. If we all do this, we can overwhelm the politics of the past and get a new start.

Thanks,
John Kerry
