All,

It is with great excitement that I am able to announce a new member to our management team; Sophie (FullMoonFairy8).

Sophie is a friend of mine who I attracted from a Pagan site and I look forward to her contributions.  She is also a recovering addict with many in her family who are "gay."  I will allow her to expound more on her and her past.

We will discuss the site options over the weekend.  Ed as previously stated will be more concentrated on the "Meth Project" as will I; however, I will start building the new site by the second weekend of November.  Meanwhile, I will continue to work on gaining exposure through the MySpace profile and Ed will do the same through the Facebook profile.  Ed is also building a Google Group as a backup and as a means to attract more to our cause.  Meanwhile, we will do our best to keep reaching out to those interested in the "Meth Project."  This is a difficult task, indeed!

Sophie will help us attract attention and hopefully help us build new ideas to the forums and the ideas that have become stagnant in particular.  She will be I hope an essential element in "waking" up the dead and experimenting with what may bring new members.  Active ones at that!  I look forward to her involvement with the "Meth Project" as well if she is inclined.

Several weeks ago, I placed a site counter on the Home Page.  You can barely see it and I know by watching this site counter that our website gets between 40-50 hits a day on average.  So, we know we are being watched and checked out.  We also know that participating members are a precious commodity.  In the early days, it took sometimes an hour a day to release messages.  "Today" is an entirely different story, unfortunately.

Anyhow, please welcome Sophie!  She has great experience with networking and is an absolutely wonderful person!

Brandon

No one has responded to this thread  I just received an e-mail from Sophie.  She has returned home from the hospital and they are uncertain exactly what the problem is.  I'll let her expound on that if she see's fit.

A prayer would be nice for Sophie that she gets better, and has a speedy recovery

Each of us has characteristics we define as ‘good?and those we define as ‘bad.?The parts of ourselves that we continually reject want to be acknowledged and loved. Until we honor these aspects, they will continue to assert themselves. They will do whatever they can to get our attention.

"There is that part of ourselves that feels ugly, deformed, unacceptable. That part, above all, we must learn to cherish, embrace, and call by name." -- Macrina Wiederkehr
