I've noticed the site has slowed considerably in the last couple of days. Today, it has almost slowed to a screaching halt. Don't anticipate much help from MSN Groups in these last few months that they are open. As planned, we will migrate onto Multiply.com on or around December 1st but we will remain on MSN until they close February 21st, 2009. For those that wish to migrate onto the Multiply.com site you will receive an invitation in December to do so. For those that wish to hold out for www.backtothebasicsplease.com to be built, you are free to stay on the MSN Group though I cannot predict how viable the site will be from here on out. Let me be clear though, even if you join the Multiply Group, your membership will remain with the MSN Group until you cancel it and until MSN closes the group in February. Although it is not as pretty or elaborate as the MSN Group, our back up group on Google is highly functional and you really don't have to worry about any posting problems. We will have major construction to do there once the MSN Group servers are shut down as so much of the Google Group is tied into this site. That site URL is http://groups.google.com/group/back-to-the-basics-please I encourage you all to join the Google group in case MSN freezes up or goes down for however length of time. We're progressing quite well with the Google Group. Ed and Michael post daily 12-step messages, news bulletins, etc., everyday! It will be an interesting next few months assuredly but we are spreading our brand to a-lot of different platforms. This will be an exciting period of transition Brandon |
