The following is a new project that has been built into the new website.  It will work on the same premise as "The Meth Project" which we will change to "Meth Outreach."

The URBAN TO RURAL OUTREACH project will encompass other substances and as well encompass other health issues such as HIV treatments.  We will implement it here once we see how Mulitply.com & Aimoo.com takes the group & we can certainly report our progress on the Google Group.  I will build a page there as well.

I am waiting on someone to get back ahold of me who is pondering a position on the board and hopefully be able to work with this new project.

In fact the rough outline of the website is just about finished.  Take a looksy, www.backtothebasicsplease.com.  I have included a flash player introduction which will give people logging into the site a fresh idea of what the site is about and perhaps what is currently going on before they search the various pages; however, I have not figured the "flash player" out yet.

You will notice that the main topic page selections are on top of the site.  If you select "Home" for instance, you will then see all of the various pages that belong to that section on your left side, as well as a guestbook that I hope you will all sign.

The forums have not quite been all figured out yet but I have provided (3).  The first one is a "General" forum to the left of the "What's New" icon.  The second Word/Press Forum is located to the left of the "Urban to Rural Outreach" icon & the "Meth Outreach blog" is of course located to the left of the "Meth Outreach" icons.

I am still uncertain if anyone but administrators can announce material onto the forums.  We can certainly switch out the forums for blogs if you all wish.  Even with the blogs, the administrators have to present topics for comments.

The website is much more restrained by design as far as communication which is why it is important that we keep these "user groups" alive and well.  Even if Multiply turns out to be less than desirable, I'm sure it will serve as a decent means for communication leaving the website for the bulk of available resources.

We'll learn as we go along.  There are quite a bit of mathematical formulas that I still don't understand and after several hours of writing pages and code I'm about half blind.

Lemme know what you think folks and I'm still waiting on the ideas.  By now there is enough on the website to get an idea or two.  The photograph of the ocean can be exchanged although the program is fussy.  It mandates a three part picture and a regular picture broken into three has not worked so far.

There are other developer programs out there but they cost quite a bit so this one will only do so much.  Actually the developer tables right here on the MSN Group are more elaborate in many ways but the layered theme is outdated or so it seems.

Okay, hope to hear from you all.  It would be nice to hear a few things as we move through such a major transition

Brandon

I removed the generic forum and installed Word Press onto "What's New and Urban to Rural Outreach."  Anyone can respond or introduce subject material.
