Dearest
We are well and we hope that you will also be well in Jesus name…Amen.
I am thankful to you for your e-mail. You are very good person. I am still
busy with children in another village. I already told you about new room in
a village. I am going daily there to bring more children in that room for
study because in that village there are many children but their parents are
sending them for work not for study. Those all children go to do work in
fields these days. This is harvesting season of wheat and children are going
there. I become so sad to see little children working in the fields because
they can not bear heavy weight but they have to do that for earning.
I am praying to God for these children and I believe some day God will give
them chances to go to schools for education. I am talking with their parents
for them. I hope my talking with them will bring answer and I am also
praying for this. If these children will be uneducated they will have to
spend their lives like slaves. They do work like slaves in fields. They go
there and cut crops and landlords always pay them only a very small amount
for this. Like 20 Rupee per day. They go on work at early in the morning and
come back late at night. I think they are paid 20 Rupees (0.30USD) for 12 or
14 hours. This is very bad situation. My heart wants them to see in the
schools with other children.
Those children are always hated by Landlords because Landlords think these
children, their mothers and Fathers are slaves and they are treated like
slaves. This behavior of Landlords with children is effecting on the
innocent minds of children.
I have seen many things in those children that are not good.
Their attitude is not good;
They use rude words in their language,
They abuse each other because landlords abuse them,
They have started to think like salves,
These things are not good for them and I want to make them good Christians.
Here are also Muslim people and children are also working with them but
Landlords are Muslims for this they have arranged religious education for
Muslims but Christian children have to work till Muslims get their religious
education. Sometimes Christian children are also called for Islamic
education that is not good. I think if these children are not taught they
will not be Christians in future.
I have started to talk with parents and I am also trying to spend time with
children in fields. I hope I shall get good results.
I can do nothing for these children but I shall do what I can do. Please
help me in this with your prayers and with your encouraging words.
