Hi there. I'm Allison. I am very thankful to be apart of this awesome christian family. I would like to take this time and share my testimony with you.
My Testimony
On October 6th, 1999 Greg Wafford ( a pastor for Bridgeway Baptist Church at the time ) invited me, and a few other teens ( two of them happened to be my cousins.) to a youth revival up in Mt Vernon, KY. Well, the message was preached and they had set aside a time where people could go up and pray if they felt led. My two cousins that were with me went up. I stayed behind.
About a month later, I was attending the church Greg Wafford preached at. My cousin attended church with me also. November 11th, 1999 ( I was 14 at the time ) Greg preached a message and it touched my heart. Somethng was different. I could feel the lord talking to me. Me and my cousin went forward, and Greg said a prayer with us, and that night we accepted Jesus into our heart. I then became totally dedicated to God.
A little more then a month later, on December 15,1999, I had a very tramatic accident. I accidentally shot myself in the eye. My dad thought I was dead, didn't want to live without me and took his own life. God has big plans for my life,as he does for everyones life.
It was and is still different. But, June 24th 2000, a close friend ( like family ) invited me to a revival and I decided to go. That night I rededicated my life. I was then led back to a church that I went to as a child and attend now. I was baptized on September 31,2001. God has really been working in my life. I was recently called to be a Preschool Teacher for Sunday School. I hope to one day be a Christian Teen Counselor. Since my accident,I've dealt with a lot of problems and I've learned to give them to God,he has all the answers.
Just a few of my favorite verses are John 3:16, Philipians 4:13, and Matthew 6:33.God has brought me through a lot. Through the power of prayer God has brought me from almost dead to being fully paralyzed on one side, and using a cane, and being in a wheelchair and wearing a brace , to no cane, hardly ever using a wheelchair, and no brace. All I can say is God is amazing.
Here are a few of my mottos: Live life to the fullest, but giving God all the glory and honor and praise, Always smile for Jesus ;) THERE IS NOTHING GOD CAN'T HANDLE. Give everything to God, he'll bless you. If God can get you to it, God can get you through it. PUSH=Pray Until Something happens, FROG= Fully Rely On God,WWJD= What Would Jesus Do? ( think about that before you get into a situation or do something you know isn't right ), DOG=Depend On God. Let Jesus come into your heart!!!!!! ;-) God Bless you and I hope I've touched your heart in some way.

Dear Allison
Hi my name is julia and i live in melbourne Australia, i was very ineterested in your Testmony.. God is awsome he truely is it amazes me how he takes you back he did that with me to.. I was in a 2nd marriage that lasted 9 months it should never have happend it never felt right from the beginning, on july the 14th 2003 i was made redundant from my job and my decri nici came through from my divorce i was free of this man at last but as we were getting the news we had lost our jobs i sat their with a smile on my face as i knew id be ok god would look after me while others were worried about where their next cent would come from GOD took me back to where i did my nursing training 32 yrs ago he slammed all the old doors shut it was like he was saying ok you are back where u started you have a 2nd chance..since then ive meet the amzeing man God lead us to each other im Australian he is candian.. we just knew we are meant to spend the rest of our lives together with out saying a word to each other we are very much in love through christ he will be in australia march next yr around there.. he knows both our hearts..he has matched us pefectly ..we both have 100% faith in him God doesnt make mistakes .. Funny thing. i met a guy when i first started coming to christians
meeting christians and i met an incredible guy named Jeff. we talked now
have been together 3 weeks. you know how sometimes you just know that
you and that guy arre meant to be well thats how it was with jeff. we
clicked and are already in love. i hope that we last a long time, but
i'm leaving it all in gods hands. im from indiana by the way if you want
