I don't think it will be possible to get the All Topics entry on the left hand menu, but there is a way to provide a single mouse click access to the DF All Topics message list.  It is through the use of your Links feature in Internet Explorer.  If you are not using Internet Explorer as your Internet browser, these instructions are not for you.

If you have your Links capability enabled there will be a Links bar near the top of your browser window.  This is what mine looks like:

I have the message boards I frequent set up in my Links bar as you can see.  With these set up all I have to do to get to any of the message boards is to click on the message board title with a single mouse click.  For example if I want to get to The CNBC Board, I position my cursor onto CNBC Board and click the left mouse button (I have the URL's for the message board link set to the All topics board).  Now if you are not familiar with the Link bar feature here are the basics:

To cause the Links bar to be displayed on your browser (if it is not currently), click the View menu item and hover the mouse pointer over Toolbars.  A secondary drop down menu will appear that has the various menu bar selections that are available.  The selections with the check marks are enabled, that is to say they are visible on your browser at the top of its window.  To enable the Links bar, you put the mouse pointer over the word Links and click the left button.  Your Links bar will be added to your browser.

Now if you have not set up your Links there will be a lot of links to sites that Microsoft was sure you would want, but probably this is not the case. The first thing I do is to get rid of all of these links by going to the Favorites and Organize Favorites... and delete all of the locations in the Links folder that I never go to, which was all of them, you might want to leave some if you use any of these sites.

Next go to the first site location you wish to add as a Link.  Use the Favorites, Add to Favorites... and add the favorite into the Link folder.  A new link will be added to your Links bar which will allow you access to the site with a single click.

Now to shorten the names to allow more links to show on the Links bar, you can point on the name of the link and right click the mouse.  Use the Rename selection on the drop down menu and change the link name to whatever you wish.  Just make sure you provide yourself with enough info to know where you are going when you select the link later.

I hope this information will prove to be useful for some of you.

Cool Binck!

Something else that I have been meaning to mention is (its four o'clock in the morning?)

YAHOO COMPANION, a customizable toolbar (customizable?) From yahoos main page, installs very fast and so far has been very dependable. It's cool for navigating around  but most importantly for STOCKS (YECH) you can switch between "my toolbar" and the "stock-market toolbar"... in the stock-market toolbar all you do it is type in the ticker symbol and click on news, message boards, historical quotes, research, fundamentals, analysts opinion, OPTION CHAINS! SEC FILINGS! NEWS! PROFILES! INSIDER TRADES! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo companion, don't leave home without it... not only information from yahoo, but it's totally customizable (looked it up, it's a word!) To search out articles from red herring, Motley, and everybody! Charts, Gann lines, arrays, moving averages, weighted, unweighted, exponential even!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! AND THOUSAND DAY MOVING AVERAGES!!!!!!!!!! SOMEBODY CALL SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!
