STOCK CONTEST RULES
Welcome all to the CNBC board double/triple/quadruple/quintuple etc etc contest for 2004.
Here's how it work folks...............
10 tickers maximum number......any US or Canadian Ticker is valid, if Your ticker is US give a US quote or Canuck give a Canuck Quote. When you decide on your ticker(s) .......It is the quote at the end of that day which is valid. You have till Sunday Febuary 1st to compile a list..... Monday Febuary 2nd the contest begins
This is going long and believing in your certain sector or sectors to go loooong with.
- So if the ticker you pick, doubles before Dec 31st, 2004 you get ONE point and have the option of booking it even if it doubles early. A Double means at the close of business.....after hours not included.

If your said ticker doubles early you have the option of going for a triple and if it hits it's price objective before the year is out you get an additional point for a total of TWO points. If said Ticker does not triple you LOSE the ONE point you have already got, so make SURE of your decision. You have 2 business days to make your decision.

If your stock triples you get two points and can go for a quadruple (3 pts) but if the stock does not quad you only lose the triple point.....this holds true with each level the stock achieves. Therefore
Double.........1 point
Triple.........2 points
Quadruple......3 points
Quintuple......4 points
Sextuple.......5 points
and so on

Any ticker in your list that does not achieve a double before the year is out is MINUS ONE point, so CHOOSE wisely.

There are obvious Doubles out there..... so posters can SHARE the same ticker if so desired.
Make sure of your picks because you will lose a point for a non doubles.
Each poster is responsible for monitoring his/her picks.
