Okay, you'll love this.

I have never heard of anybody doing this, but it seems safe, I've done it many times and only got into trouble once.

Icons... those little things that you click on, what are they!!!!!!!!!!!! who cares!

Take a picture, send it to paint (remember sendto) okay okay, right click and drag it onto your paint icon and click "open with" , it should open in paint... click"save as" and save that baby anywhere, SUGGESTION: your desktop! (it will automatically save as a bitmap) ... now right click that newly made bitmap and select " rename"..... rename it anything DOT exe (anything.exe)... example: Bob.exe

Step two.

Make a SHORTCUT for ANY file on your computer (even the bitmap you've just made), (right click the selected file, drag to new location , choose " make shortcut")... take a break

Step three

right click that shortcut, and select properties, choose change icon, choose explore... navigate to the bitmap that you just made (down at the bottom of the window you are looking at right now,you must choose "all files" , because your computer is only looking for icon files and it won't display the bitmap, but we don't let our pewters tell us what to do)... select that bitmap!

Now when you go back to the your desktop or wherever to view that shortcut, its icon will now be that picture!!!!!!!!!! What's the practical application? NONE!

That particular shortcut will be the only shortcut that is affected by this change... this can be done globally although, affecting any particular file extension you want, but it's a different procedure and also has no practical application..

How did I get in trouble? Icons of my naked wife on her partition... globally...yuk yuk yuk
