Hmmm, I see Australia is waaaaaaaaay down under and separated by a spreading center...more commonly known as an oceanic ridge.

CRJ, it must be the hot glazed crullers right before bed time?

Actually, my wife has been gone for several days and I await her homecoming shortly.

Now then, which way do we go tomorrow?

I'm expecting a move up, then a move down, then another move up, a small move down, and then back up again.  But not necessarily in that order.

A cruller would be good.  I'm still in my office without food except some stale tortilla chips.  Can't even find any salsa to put on them.

Listening to a Sugar Ray CD while I toil into the wee hours.  I may run out to a nearby gas station that sells Krispy Kremes.

Just don't run out to a gas station in the D.C. area.

If I were in D.C., I would still run out.  But I would "serpentine" all the way to the KK.  What was that movie where the guy dodges the bullets by "serpentining."  Alan Arkin in it, maybe?  Can't think of it.

Now there is a long list after another very serious pullback:

"There are two other quick things that are sticking out at me that I wanted to mention. This rally is different from recent bear market rallies. Some decent stocks are actually breaking out and showing follow through. The names jumping out at me are Electronic Arts (ERTS: sentiment, chart, options) , AutoZone (AZO: sentiment, chart, options) , and Forest Laboratories (FRX: sentiment, chart, options) . Not too shabby looking charts. The other thing I'm noticing is the consumers are failing to rally with the market (Procter & Gamble (PG: sentiment, chart, options) , Coca-Cola (KO: sentiment, chart, options) , Colgate-Palmolive (CL: sentiment, chart, options) , Clorox (CLX: sentiment, chart, options) , etc.). These names aren't really participating in this 1,000-point rally and it may due to the fact that the funds are switching out of defensive names and into aggressive technology stocks with higher betas. Ultimately though, this is still symbolic of the market's underlying weakness. If it were a bull market, you would see these names that have held up as defensive plays break out and gain more strength when the market rallies. Instead, these stocks are failing to participate and are actually selling off during this recent rally. This is a bit of a troubling sign."

ERTS, AZO, FRX, PG, KO (maybe)... etc.

Maybe after this "B" proves to be a B and not another five wave down (which might break the low)....
