hey stocky ...

gss seems to be getting tired ... was thinking of off-loading some of it and am considering a replacement ... looks like cde continues to be the star (i sold it all off when i did my december sell-off) ... is it just because people like to pile in on this one?

looks like i may have to look a little more closely at GBG ...

sheesh ... i need to do a sit down and look at everything again!!!

ECU Silver has been the best performer for me today -- doing better than cde so far ... it appears to be on a little role ... FAN is doing nicely as well ...

not sure how to play at this point either ... sell 30% and wait for another IN or sit ...

comments anyone?

midas info ...

ECU Silver jumped more than 10% to 32.5 cents Cdn.

"Sur American Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SUR) is very pleased to advise that it has received "bonanza" gold values of 781.5 g/t and 473.2 g/t gold from its on-going bulk sampling program at its Comval Gold Project, Mindanao, Philippines."

A little birdie out there tells me a significant short in J-Pacific Gold is likely to be squeezed before month end. JPN closed at 75 cents Cdn.

Samex Mining at $1.11 is 19 cents off its high made with gold $20 lower. Makes no sense!

Golden Star Resources has lagged of late as a result of their refinancing. None of us like dilution as it brings on share price pressure. However, they are needed to build companies. GSS now has $90 million in the bank, will begin work on their exploration sights and has money to add to their holdings if something comes along.

It is on its way to becoming a class mid-size gold producer. To do such one needs to build mines. They could go to a bullion bank, which would force them to hedge, or raise money privately. Would you rather have a little dilution at these price levels or have a company like Golden Star hedge a % of new production at these price levels as gold explodes towards $800 per ounce? Have to love the stock at $7.25. It’s headed for $21 per share, then $30.

How about that Roodeport Rocket! Durban Deep leaped 42 cents to $3.72, up 13%.

when midas commentary mentions gold shares i pay attention.  i've made some nice gains from their shares ... ECU is the only stock that was a laggard ... i stuck with it and it seems to be waking up ...

Bill, I am certain that some of these stocks like IMA or Mag Silver or PMI or Vangold or Great Basin Gold or Seabridge that hold massive properties in the middle of proven areas will go up 100-1000 times before this mania is completed and the government goes after anyone who has some proven assets. For instance, IMA might be sitting on a property that is worth literally billions, and the stock can't get out of its own way. Tune in tomorrow for more fun. Expecting heavy volume in the golds. Chuck
