this is my original post about ulbi.  when been talked about this company weeks before this post, i started to watch it.  i've always tried to line myself up with other people, but it's been very difficult around here because so many people bounce around with so many different stock picks.

i tend to want to get to know a company a bit before i trade it.

thus, i watched okie's aob for months before i made any money.  i made money in spite of okie screaming at me that i was going to get screwed on the trade.

it get's wierd that way sometimes around here.

everyone seemed very pleased that some of my stock picks didn't do what i expected of them and seemed very ready to point that out to me.

i made my first trade in 1988, 500 rbk for $1.25 a share gain.  i've been in the market ever since.

JFO, I think you're terrific! Like you, I like to watch a stock before I jump in, I don't trade a whole lot of stocks at any one time but do watch a lot. I'm never pleased when some of your picks don't work out as expected. Heck, that happens to everyone - I enjoy posting about some of my watches and reading about others. We get ideas from each other and while I lean towards the fundamentals, others here lean towards the technical and that's a fabulous combination imo.

Best to ya!
