i don't like it when they take that long, but i'm not a daytrader.  not to say i won't take a good profit in a day, and i have, but...

i couldn't tell you about dell and aa and all the others that got to no mans land, but i could tell you with a great deal of confidence that dptr would decline and will continue to decline.  same thing with gm, and i'm still watching ibm for 75ish.

look at aob in "no mans land" at 5.30ish...  buy it at 4ish and short it at 6ish and cover or sell at the pivot of 5ish...  for about 25% trades, but you got to watch 'em and wait, and sometimes after i make the trade and average to my limit, i have to wait again...  i hate it when that happens because i like a two to three week swing on the money.

regarding oil and the airlines...

if they break oil first, regardless of the balance sheets on the airlines, it will rally airlines.

we had a thread about this around the start of '06 and i think been and i were talking about it.

my point is that i think the days are numbered for oil prices.  USA needs the tax cut!!! big time!!!  i think it would also help the trade gap, but?  someone else may be in a better position that i to explain that impact...

the point is and has been for some time that there's no shortage of oil, period, and the prices are bullshit, period!

oil could get cut in half really easy...
