John was in Bo's office fighting with him saying that Marlena wasn't alive his phone rang.
John: Hello
Police Officer of LA: Hello is this John Black
John: Yes
Officer: I'm calling to inform you that your sister Niesha and Matt Soriano were killed last night. John got tears in his eyes.

John: My baby sister Niesha and Matt are gone, I have to go to La to the funeral and to see Maria my niece. John told Belle but not Brady cause that poor man was gonna break into tears. So John, Kate, Belle and Phillip went to LA.

Maria got up, took a shower, got dressed and went into Angel's office.
