Marlena finally delivers her baby. “It’s a girl!” the doctor says
Marlena is over joyed to have another little girl and she knows Roman was too. “What should we name her?” Marlena says to Roman and holding the baby.
Roman was looking at his daughter with joy. “I’ve always loved the name Jasmine,”
“That something you and I have in commom,” Marlena says smiling “Jasmine it will be.She does need a middle name, what about Elizabeth?”
“After your mother. I love it.” Roman looks down at the baby “Welcome to the world Jasmine Elizabeth Brady”
Marlena and Roman spend time with Jasmine before seeing visitors.
“Roman, can you go to the waiting room and tell John I want to see him,” Marlena didn’t want John in the delivery for some reason. She wanted Roman because he was the father of her child.
“Yeah sure,” Roman heads out to the waiting room to tell John about her request to see him.
Roman gets to John and tells him about the baby. They both head back to the delivery room together. John and Roman both walk in but Marlena tells Roman she wants to talk to John alone. John thinks the worst and thinks Marlena is going to ask him for a divorce so she could have a family with Roman.
“So, what did you decide to name her?” John asks looking down at his new step-daughter.
“Jasmine Elizabeth Brady,” Marlena says “Do you like it?”
“Are you kidding? I love it,” John pulls out his cellphone.
“Who are you calling?” Marlena asks John
“I was going to phone Belle and tell her she has a baby sister,” John replies “She asked me to call her as soon as the baby was born,”
“Oh okay, that’s fine with me,” Marlena says smiling
John calls Jasmine’s big sister Belle and tells her the good news. When he hangs up he turns to Marlena, “Belle says she will be down later,”
“Alright then,” Marlena replies
“Well you two must be tired, I’ll leave both of you to rest,” John says “I’ll be back later,” John kisses if wife and heads for the door.
“Bye John” Marlena says
