“So did you get some info out of Colin?”<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

“No. He wouldn’t say a word about his past to me.” Jennifer paces around the room. There were boxes all over and Jennifer wasn’t watching where she was going and her heal caught the edge of a box. Jack notices this and rushes over to her just in time to catch her from falling.<o:p></o:p>

“Thanks….” Jennifer says and looks into Jack’s eyes. Jack stares back into her eyes. <o:p></o:p>

“Your welcome….” Jack says. The two leaned in for a kiss and the beeping of the computer which was done turning on. The two pull back wondering why the almost kissed. <o:p></o:p>

“Now we get to see what is on this disk.” Jack says. Jennifer puts the disk in the disk drive. The disk opens and the filed load in.<o:p></o:p>

 “Which file do we start with?” Jennifer asks.<o:p></o:p>

 “Probably the first one.” Jack says<o:p></o:p>

Hours later

Jack opens the last file. Jennifer had already fallen asleep in the chair next to him. So far they had found only a history on Hope Brady, which baffled them both. They also had found a secret document that showed some pictures of the Brady House. The rest of the files were useless. It was now 2:00 am and Jack ejected the disk. He then went over to Jennifer and woke her up. Jennifer opens her eyes and sees Jack.<o:p></o:p>

 “What time is it?”<o:p></o:p>

“Its 2:00.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“I fell asleep.” Jennifer says and gets up and yawns. <o:p></o:p>

“I almost forgot to show you the letter.” Jack says and pulls it out of his pocket.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer reads it. “It looks like Colin came to Salem on a mission and whatever he does, according to this note, it will rock Salem.<o:p></o:p>

“We have hit an dead end. All of these clues just don’t add up.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“I know we have a mysterious note from who knows who, some documents with threat or no threat written on them, a file with a history on Hope, and pictures of the Brady house.” Jennifer says. <o:p></o:p>

“Well the teamwork of Jack and Jen will solve this case and find out who Colin really is.” Jack says and smiles.<o:p></o:p>

“We will solve this case.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“We better get some sleep.” Jack says<o:p></o:p>

“Yeah, at least we don’t have to work tomorrow since it’s a Saturday.” Jennifer says<o:p></o:p>

“That is true.” Jack says and yawns also. “Lets just close our eyes and picture our evidence and think of Colin’s motive or mission.”<o:p></o:p>

Jack and Jennifer close their eyes.<o:p></o:p>

The next morning<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer opens her eyes and finds Jack still asleep. She checks her watch. “It is 10:00. Gosh, we both fell asleep.” Jennifer goes over to Jack and shakes him. Jack wakes up. “What…” he says and opens his eyes. Seeing Jennifer he jumps up. <o:p></o:p>

“What time is it?”<o:p></o:p>

“Its 10:00. I have to get home.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Yeah, I do to. I have to think of a way to get into Colin’s office and snoop anyways.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“I will keep Colin entertained while you snoop.” Jennifer says as they walk to their cars. “I’ll see you later.”<o:p></o:p>

“Bye Jen.” Jack says. Jennifer gets into her car and drives to the hospital.<o:p></o:p>

When Jennifer arrived at the hospital. She goes in and goes to the front desk.<o:p></o:p>

 “Is Dr. Murphy in today?” Jennifer asks.<o:p></o:p>

 “Why yes he is in today.” Nurse Brenda says. “I have to warn you, he is in a bad mood because he found his house broken into last night.” Jennifer’s heart beats faster. <o:p></o:p>

“Did he find out who broke in?”<o:p></o:p>

“No, nothing was reported missing except for a note of some type. So Colin decided to not to inform police about it. ” Nurse Brenda says. <o:p></o:p>

“Oh. Is he in his office?” <o:p></o:p>

“Yes.”<o:p></o:p>

“Okay, thanks.” Jennifer says and goes into Colin’s office.<o:p></o:p>

She finds Colin sitting at his desk. “Hi.”<o:p></o:p>

“Hi.” Colin says with an angry tone to his voice.<o:p></o:p>

“I heard what happened to your house.”<o:p></o:p>

“That son of a bitch who broke into my house will pay. I am going to wait up late tonight to see if the person comes back.”<o:p></o:p>

“Okay then.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“How is Abby feeling?”<o:p></o:p>

“What?”<o:p></o:p>

“Your daughter, who you went home to take care of last night!” Colin says getting mad.<o:p></o:p>

“Calm down Colin.” Jennifer says <o:p></o:p>

“My house was broken into, how would you feel if you house was broken into!”<o:p></o:p>

“Colin! I’m leaving.” Jennifer says and turns to leave. Colin gets up and grabs her and kisses her hard and throws her down on the sofa. Jennifer pushes him off of her and onto the floor. “You pig!” Jennifer says and storms off. <o:p></o:p>

“Jennifer, I need you to satisfy my needs at a time like this!” he yells after her. Jennifer runs out of the hospital and gets into her car. She then turns on the engine and pulls out of the hospital.

Jennifer drives around and finds herself outside of Jack’s apartment. She gets out of her car and goes inside and knocks on his apartment door. Jack who just got out of the shower answers the door. <o:p></o:p>

“Jennifer?”<o:p></o:p>

 “Hi Jack. I need someone to talk to.”<o:p></o:p>

 “Come in.” Jack says. Jennifer takes a seat on the sofa. <o:p></o:p>

“Colin forced himself on me…”<o:p></o:p>

 “What?” Jack asks in shock.<o:p></o:p>

 “He grabbed me, kissed me and threw me on the sofa in his office.” Jennifer says. “I was scared. He wanted to sleep with me.”<o:p></o:p>

 Jack goes up and gets his coat. <o:p></o:p>

“Where are you going?” Jennifer asks. <o:p></o:p>

“Stay here. I have something that I need to take care of.” Jack then leaves and goes to the hospital. He speeds over there and storms in. He goes over to the nurses station.<o:p></o:p>

 “Where is Colin Murphy!” Jack demands. <o:p></o:p>

“He is in his office.” Nurse Brenda says and watches him storm in. Jack goes into Colin’s office and opens the door and slams it shut. <o:p></o:p>

“Who in the hell do you think you are!” <o:p></o:p>

“Excuse me?” Colin asks. <o:p></o:p>

“I heard from a nurse about what you did to Jennifer. What do you have to say for yourself?!” <o:p></o:p>

“I can do what I want with any woman and Jennifer and you are not together anymore so what’s it to you?!”<o:p></o:p>

“Jennifer happens to be the mother of my child and my boss and even my friend. You don’t ever do that again do you hear me.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

Colin’s beeper goes off. “I have to go.” He gets up. “I’m sure you can show yourself out.” Colin then leaves. Jack notices that he was alone in Colin’s office.<o:p></o:p>

 “My opportunity is here. Now I can snoop around his office. Jack then opens the drawers and goes through the papers. He finds Colin’s cell phone in a drawer and takes it out. “Colin’s cell phone. Now when the person who always calls him, I will pretend to be Colin and finally learn what his mission really is.” Jack takes his cell phone and leaves. As he was making a bee line out he literally runs into Sami. “Hey watch where you are going!” Sami yells and looks up to see Jack. “Sorry Sami, I have to go.” Jack says. Sami stops him from leaving. “What’s the hurry?” she asks. “I have to go and meet someone.” Jack says. “I have been thinking. Brandon is never going to take me back and its clear that you and Jennifer are over, and I happened to develop feelings toward you…. What I am trying to say is, would you like to go out on a date with me?” Jack was stunned. He needed to move on and get over Jennifer. “Ah, sure. How about we go out later tonight.” Jack says. <o:p></o:p>

“What time?” Sami asks. <o:p></o:p>

“How about 8:00. We will have dinner at the Penthouse Grill.”<o:p></o:p>

“See you then…” Sami says and runs her hands down his chest before leaving.<o:p></o:p>

“B…B…Bye Sami.” Jack says shocked that she did that. Jack then realizes that he had Colin’s phone. “I better get out of here.” He says and sees Colin going into his office. Jack the rushes outside and turned the phone on. He got in his car and drove back to his apartment.<o:p></o:p>

Jack rushes into his apartment to see Jennifer on the couch watching some TV. <o:p></o:p>

“Where did you go to?” she says then flips the TV off.<o:p></o:p>

Jack smiles. “That’s not the point. The point is that I got Colin’s cell phone.”<o:p></o:p>

“I don’t get it?” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“When the mystery person calls Colin’s cell, I posing as Colin will pick it up. I will then get the scoop on Colin’s mission.”<o:p></o:p>

“I get it.” Jennifer says. “We can hang out here till the mystery person calls.”<o:p></o:p>

“I can hang until 8:00.”<o:p></o:p>

“What’s at 8:00?”<o:p></o:p>

“I have a date.”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer was stunned. “A date?”<o:p></o:p>

“Yes. You look surprised.”<o:p></o:p>

“W.. with who?”<o:p></o:p>

“Sami.”<o:p></o:p>

“Sami? Jennifer then relaxes. “I get it. She trying to make Brandon jealous by using you.”<o:p></o:p>

“No. She told me that she was over Brandon and had developed feelings towards me.”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer just looks at Jack. “I thought Sami wasn’t your type…” she says softly.<o:p></o:p>

“I have a feeling that you don’t want me going out with Sami.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“Its just that Sami isn’t your type.” <o:p></o:p>

“I have to move on Jen. Sami is the starting point of my journey into different relationships. You made it clear that you don’t want to be with me.”<o:p></o:p>

“I….” Jennifer says as Colin’s cell phone rang. <o:p></o:p>

“This is it.” Jack says and answers the phone. He disguises his voice to imitate Colin’s.<o:p></o:p>

“Hello?” Jennifer heard Jack say. “Yeah. I am quite busy, We will talk later . Bye.” Jack hangs up.<o:p></o:p>

“Well?”<o:p></o:p>

“It was Shawn Brady Sr. He wanted Colin to come into the Brady pub so they could talk about you.”<o:p></o:p>

“Oh. We will have to wait.”<o:p></o:p>

Jack’s doorbell than rang. He went over and answered it. Jennifer sees Sami.<o:p></o:p>

“Sami. Hi.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“Hey. I was thinking about our dinner tonight and I want your opinion on what dress to wear.” She says and holds up two dresses. Sami dosen’t notice Jennifer. One dress was a short red dress and the other one was a long low cut black dress.<o:p></o:p>

“You would look great in both of them. Why don’t you surprise me.” Jack says<o:p></o:p>

“I will.” Sami says and then gives Jack a long kiss before leaving. Jennifer couldn’t help but feel  jealous when they kissed. After Sami was out of sight, Jack closes the door.<o:p></o:p>

“So I see that Sami is indeed over Brandon.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Yep. Brandon, I think is with Lexie now.” Jack then looks into the fridge to get himself a soda. <o:p></o:p>

“Jack, I’m going to check on Abby at Gran’s.” <o:p></o:p>

“Ok. Do you want me to come with you?”<o:p></o:p>

“No, its okay. You need to be alone to answer the phone.”<o:p></o:p>

“Bye Jen.” Jack says and watches her leave<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer arrives at Gran’s and gets out her key and lets herself in. Mrs. Horton who was sitting on the couch turns around and sees Jennifer.<o:p></o:p>

 “Jennifer Rose. Its nice to see you.”<o:p></o:p>

“Hi Gran.” Jennifer says softly.<o:p></o:p>

“What is wrong dear?”<o:p></o:p>

“Nothing.”<o:p></o:p>

“I can tell by the tone of your voice.”<o:p></o:p>

“Its just that Jack has a date tonight.”<o:p></o:p>

“He does. Why would you care?”<o:p></o:p>

“Its just that Sami isn’t his type.”<o:p></o:p>

“He is going out with Samantha Brady?”<o:p></o:p>

“Yes and she is not using him either. I saw them kiss.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Its good to see Jack move on. You are dating Colin Murphy and Jack needs to try and move on from you like he said.”<o:p></o:p>

“Gran, I really don’t like Colin at all.”<o:p></o:p>

Mrs. H was stunned. “Then why are you going out with him dear?”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer doesn’t know if she should tell Gran the mission that her and Jack were on. “If I tell her a little bit, It can’t hurt.” She thinks then says, “I am dating Colin to find out his mysterious past. Something about him doesn’t click.”<o:p></o:p>

“Oh my, be careful Jennifer Rose. I hear that Colin, has quite the temper. I knew you would never fall for him.”<o:p></o:p>

“You know me too well Gran.” Jennifer says and gives her a hug.<o:p></o:p>

“What are you going to do with you feelings for Jack.” Gran says.<o:p></o:p>

“What feelings? I don’t have any.”  Jennifer says hoping she could convince Gran and herself.<o:p></o:p>

“I know you still have feelings for him. You wouldn’t be so concerned about Jack and his love life. “ Gran says and smiles. “When I look into your eyes Jennifer Rose, I see that you still love Jack.”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer sighs. “Even if I do have feelings for Jack, he has already moved on with Sami. I’m not sure if he would want to be with me now since I treated him so poorly in the past.” <o:p></o:p>

“Jack still loves you and always will Jennifer Rose.” Gran says. “You need to follow your heart. If you do, then everything will be alright.”<o:p></o:p>

“Thanks Gran.” Jennifer says and gives her a hug.

Jack sits down on the sofa at his apartment with Colin’s cell phone in hand. “I wonder if Colin Murphy has noticed that his cell phone is missing.” Jack thinks<o:p></o:p>

Meanwhile at University Hospital….<o:p></o:p>

Colin Murphy had just gotten done with his patient and was returning to his office for a break. He instantly goes into his drawer and digs for his cell phone. “Where in the hell is my phone!” he roared and pulled the drawer out and tore through it. Not finding the cell phone, he then dumps his desk. “Its gone! Some bastard stole my phone. If the boss calls, then they will find out my mission. I have warmed up enough to the residents of Salem. I will do what I came for very soon.” A nurse comes in. She was tall, with long curly brown hair. Her name was Ella. <o:p></o:p>

“Ella…. Come in here.” Colin says as the nurse came into his office. “Close the door and shut my blinds.” Colin says. Ella comes over to him. <o:p></o:p>

“Dr. Murphy, here are the papers that I was assigned to give you.” She says. Ella had the biggest crush on Colin and she had been talking to someone when he left that Deveraux and went back to work. “Great…” Colin says and smiles at her. Ella smiles back. “Why are you looking at me like that?” Colin goes over and grabs her and kisses her long and hard. After he kisses her he asks, “Ella, did you see anyone enter my office after I left?”<o:p></o:p>

“No, but I did see a guy come out.”<o:p></o:p>

“That was Deveraux…. “Wait a second…” Colin thinks. “He might have my phone.”<o:p></o:p>

Colin goes to leave but Ella pulls him back and kisses him as they fall onto the sofa…...<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer hugs Abby and Gran goodbye. “I will pick Abby up around 9:00 at night.”<o:p></o:p>

“Ok Jennifer.” Gran says.<o:p></o:p>

“Bye mommy.” Abby says and smiles.<o:p></o:p>

“Don’t be to much trouble for Mrs. H.”<o:p></o:p>

“I won’t.” Abby says and smiles.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer leaves and decides to talk to Sami and find out where Jack and her were having dinner at.  She drives to University Hospital and goes over to Sami’s desk/station.<o:p></o:p>

 “Hello Sami.” Jennifer says. <o:p></o:p>

“Jennifer, what are you doing here?”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer had to think of something fast. “I… I lost my ring and I think I might have left it here when I stopped by earlier.”<o:p></o:p>

“Oh, I’ll check.” Sami says. <o:p></o:p>

Before she left to look for Jen’s ring, Jennifer asks. “I hear that you are dating Jack.”<o:p></o:p>

Sami stopped in her tracks. “How do you know this?” <o:p></o:p>

“I was at Jack’s apartment when you stopped by earlier.”<o:p></o:p>

Sami decided it was the perfect time to rub Jen’s nose in it. “Yeah we are dating. Did you happen to see when we kissed.”<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer cringes. “What does Jack see in her?” she thinks. “Yes. I have been at where you are having dinner and I say it is nice.” This was part of Jennifer’s plan to get Sami to say where they were going to dinner.<o:p></o:p>

“Yes. The Penthouse Grill is a great place to eat. Jack will be too focused on me to think about food.”  Sami says and smiles,<o:p></o:p>

“Penthouse Grill eh.” Jennifer thinks. “I’m sure you will have a great time.” Jennifer says and goes to leave.<o:p></o:p>

“What about your ring?” Sami asks.<o:p></o:p>

“I’ll check at home first so I don’t waste your time.” Jennifer says and leaves.<o:p></o:p>

“What was that all about?” Sami thinks and watches Jen leave.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer after getting the info that she needed decided to head back to Jack’s apartment. She drives there and knocks on his door. Jack opens it. “Hey. What took you so long?” he asks as Jen walks in. “I got talking to Gran and…”<o:p></o:p>

“Say nothing more. I know how much Mrs. H likes to talk.” He says and smiles.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer smiles. “Did the mystery person call yet?”<o:p></o:p>

“No. I sure hope this person calls soon.” Jack says. “I’m pretty sure Colin had noticed that his cell phone is missing by now.<o:p></o:p>

Meanwhile back at University Hospital….<o:p></o:p>

Colin puts his shirt back on. “That was wonderful baby.” He says and kisses her softly. “You better get dressed.”  <o:p></o:p>

“I will Dr.” she says with a playful smile and gets dressed. After Ella got dressed she quietly exited Colin’s office. After she was gone Colin thinks, “She is one sexy lady. I think I know who stole my phone and I got my pleasure from Nurse Ella.” Colin then thinks. “If I play my cards right, Jennifer and I will make love next.” He then dials Jennifer’s cell phone number from the phone in his office and waits for her to pick up.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer who was talking to Jack hears her cell phone ring. “Hello?” she says answering it. Jack looks at her figuring that it was Colin.<o:p></o:p>

“Hey sexy.” Colin says.<o:p></o:p>

“Oh, its you.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Look, I’m sorry about what happened in my office. I shouldn’t have done that.” Colin lies. “I was wondering if I could make it up to you with dinner tonight?”<o:p></o:p>

“Alright.” Jennifer says<o:p></o:p>

“I was thinking Tuscany at about 8:00.”<o:p></o:p>

“How about the Penthouse Grill instead of Tuscany?” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Alright sexy.”<o:p></o:p>

“I’ll meet you there.” Jennifer says and hangs up.<o:p></o:p>

“I take it that was Colin.”<o:p></o:p>

“Yep. I’m having dinner with him at the Penthouse Grill at 8:00.”<o:p></o:p>

Jack stands there and thinks. “I wonder if she knew where Sami and I were having dinner at because it seems odd that Jennifer and Colin would be at the same restaurant that Sami and I will be at.”  <o:p></o:p>

“I better be going. I have to get ready for my “date” with Colin.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“Ok.” Jack says. Before leaving Jennifer goes up to Jack and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

Jennifer finishes putting on her makeup. She decided to wear a shimmery and long aqua dress with matching shoes and her hair down. She gets her purse and grabs her coat. She then gets into her car and heads over to the Penthouse Grill to meet Colin.<o:p></o:p>

Jack finishes putting his shoes on. He decided to wear a black suit and decided to slick his hair back, not so much but a little bit. He grabs his coat and car keys and drives over to Sami’s apartment. He goes to her room number and knocks on the door. A minute later Sami is standing there in the short red dress. “Hey Sami. You look great.” Jack says and smiles. <o:p></o:p>

“Thanks.” Sami says and gets her coat. They walk to Jack’s car and drive over to the Penthouse Grill.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer arrives at the Penthouse Grill and sees Colin waiting outside for her. She parks her car and goes over to him. “Hey Colin, hope you weren’t waiting long.”<o:p></o:p>

“Oh no. I just got here. I decided to stop over at the Brady House to talk to Bo.” Colin says.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer smiles as they go inside.<o:p></o:p>

“I got us a table in the back.” Colin says.<o:p></o:p>

“Ok. That sounds nice.”<o:p></o:p>

“And also romantic. After we eat, we can go back to my place.” Colin says.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer’s stomach turned. “Sounds like a plan.” A waiter comes and seats them in the back.<o:p></o:p>

Jack and Sami arrive at the Penthouse Grill. Jack holds the door open for Sami and they walk in. A waiter comes and seats them in the back also. Jack makes sure that Colin’s cell phone is turned on, just incase the mystery person called. Jack instantly notices Jennifer and Colin were two tables away from them. Sami notices them too and rolls her eyes.<o:p></o:p>

“Great. Little miss muffet is here with Dr. Murphy.” She says sarcastically.<o:p></o:p>

“Sami, that’s not very nice. I’m sure that they are here to enjoy themselves just like we are.”<o:p></o:p>

Sami dosen’t want Jack to get mad at her.<o:p></o:p>

“Sorry.” She says not meaning it. Jack could tell that she didn’t mean it.<o:p></o:p>

Jack looks at Jennifer. She looked very beautiful in the aqua dress she was wearing. To Jack she looked beautiful in anything. “Stop it Deveraux. Jennifer doesn’t want to be with you. You are here with Sami.” He thinks to himself. <o:p></o:p>

“So Sami, I see that you decided to wear the red dress.”<o:p></o:p>

“I sure did. I hope you like it.”<o:p></o:p>

“I do.” Jack says and smiles.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer who is sitting in the direction to see Jack spots him. “I wish I didn’t have to be with Colin. I wish I could be having dinner with you.” She thinks while looking at Jack. Colin notices her looking at Jack and says.<o:p></o:p>

 “There is Deveraux. He has my phone.”<o:p></o:p>

 Jennifer hears Colin say that.<o:p></o:p>

 “He has what?”<o:p></o:p>

“My cell phone. It turned up missing when I came back from treating a patient. He was the last person in my office.”<o:p></o:p>

“Don’t go blaiming him till you find evidence and are 100% positive that he took it. Are you 100% sure?”<o:p></o:p>

“Ah… Well…”<o:p></o:p>

“See you aren’t. Anyone in the hospital could have taken your phone. Jack dosen’t even know where you keep it at anyways.”<o:p></o:p>

“Yeah, you are right sexy.” Colin says and kisses her hand.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer was relieved that he bought her story. “If he knew that Jack did take his phone then he would go after him and we wouldn’t be able to find out who Colin’s boss is.” She thinks.<o:p></o:p>

A song starts to play. Sami recognizes the song as the one that her and Brandon used to dance to. Jack notices that Sami looked down.<o:p></o:p>

“Whats wrong?”<o:p></o:p>

Jack notices Brandon and Nicole walk in.<o:p></o:p>

“Why don’t you dance with him now then?” <o:p></o:p>

“Jack, Brandon is not even here.”<o:p></o:p>

“Look behind you.”<o:p></o:p>

Sami looks behind her and sees Brandon. Sami was shocked. “What is he doing here?” she asks.<o:p></o:p>

“I don’t know. Why don’t you go and ask him to dance?” <o:p></o:p>

“You don’t mind?”<o:p></o:p>

“Of course not Sami. I don’t want you to be down the whole evening. We have plenty of songs to dance to.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

Sami gives him a kiss on the cheek and then leaves to go to Brandon.<o:p></o:p>

Jack goes up to the front of the resturant to go and check on Abby by calling Alice.<o:p></o:p>

Jennifer notices Sami get up and go to Brandon. A song was playing and Jennifer noticed that Jack was alone and was heading off to the front of the resturant.. <o:p></o:p>

“Colin, excuse me. I am going to freshen up.” Jennifer says and excuses herself. She goes and follows Jack. She finally catches up to him in the lobby using a payphone. She taps him on the shoulder. Jack turns around and sees Jennifer. <o:p></o:p>

“Jennifer…”<o:p></o:p>

“Hi Jack. Would you care to dance?”<o:p></o:p>

“I’d love to.” Jack says and smiles. Jack and Jennifer go onto the dance floor. Their bodies are close and they sway to the music in perfect sync. <o:p></o:p>

“That was a nice thing to do for Sami.” Jennifer says<o:p></o:p>

“Well I wanted her to be happy and I can clearly tell that she still has strong feelings for Brandon yet. How did you get away from Colin?”<o:p></o:p>

“I told him that I needed to freshen up.” Jennifer says.<o:p></o:p>

“That was wise. If he found out that you were dancing with me, he would blow.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

After a minute of silence Jennifer says. “While I was talking to Gran, she helped me sort out my feelings.”<o:p></o:p>

“What kind of feelings?”<o:p></o:p>

“My feelings toward you.”

“I still lo….” Jennifer was interrupted with a tapping of her shoulder. She turns around to see Colin. “Colin….”<o:p></o:p>

The three of then exit the dance floor.<o:p></o:p>

“Why are you dancing with him!” Colin roars. Everyone stopped dancing and stared at the three of them.<o:p></o:p>

“Keep your voice down Colin.” Jennifer says. I was coming back to find you and to dance with you and I ran into Jack. Since Sami was dancing with Brandon, I decided to dance with Jack since he looked down.” Jennifer lies. <o:p></o:p>

“Yeah, I was down so Jennifer asked me to dance to cheer me up.” Jack says hoping Colin was going to buy their story.<o:p></o:p>

“Oh. Well lets go Jennifer.” Colin says<o:p></o:p>

“What? I don’t want to leave yet.” Jennifer says as Colin grabs her arm.<o:p></o:p>

Colin looks at her. Colin’s cell phone rings from Jack’s pocket. “Excuse me.” Jack says and goes into the phone booth and answers the phone. He pulled out the mini tape recorder out of his pocket and turned it on. “Hello?” he says sounding like Colin.<o:p></o:p>

“Colin. Its time for you to carry out the mission.”<o:p></o:p>

Jack dosen’t know what to say. “What is my mission again?”<o:p></o:p>

“What are you wacked? You know what it is.”<o:p></o:p>

“Just explain it to me again and speak loudly because I need to hear every detail again so I do this right.”<o:p></o:p>

“Fine.” The voice huffed. Jack places the tape recorder next to the top of the phone and hits record. The voice spoke for a while as Jack recorded and listened. <o:p></o:p>

“Your mission Colin Murphy is to kill Hope Brady for me. You have already warmed up to the Brady’s and now the perfect time to strike is here. Hope is alone in the Brady house tonight. The files that I sent you have the pictures of the Brady house on it. You also have a bio on Hope to see what she is capable of. I want her dead. By killing Hope, The Brady family will be torn apart. You are to kidnap her and drown her in the Salem River. No one will suspect you they will think that my father did it. After Hope is taken care of, you play the grieving role and warm up to the Brady’s even more. Then after a month or so, you are to kidnap Issac or Zack as he is called now. You take him to my father at the Fabersham castle. Then you tell Lexie what you did. She has no clue what I have planned.  She will get her son back. This way my father will have revenge on the Bradys and my sister  will have her son back. Do you understand this crystal clear now? I Tony Dimera will get back at the Brady’s using you, for my father. Now your life is at steak. Your first mission was to spy on the Bradys and kill Hope Brady, but like we discussed before, Issac or Zack is now part of your mission since Lexie lost him. Now do you understand?”<o:p></o:p>

“Yes, every last detail is cleared up.” Jack says sounding like Colin.<o:p></o:p>

“Good. This conversation never happened.”<o:p></o:p>

The phone went dead. Jack shuts off the recorder. “Wow. Least Hope is safe now that Colin never received this phone call.” Jack takes the tape recorder and puts it in his pocket as well as the phone. He goes back into the resturant and sees Sami sitting down waiting for him.<o:p></o:p>

“Jack where were you?” she asks.<o:p></o:p>

“I had an important phone call that I had to take. How was your dance with Brandon?”<o:p></o:p>

“It was great. I think I do have a chance with him.”<o:p></o:p>

“That’s great. Lets concider this a friendship dinner.”<o:p></o:p>

“You understand and your not mad?” Sami asks<o:p></o:p>

“Nope. I have to talk to Jennifer. Do you know where she went?”<o:p></o:p>

“Colin dragged her out of here a few minutes ago telling her that they are going to his place.” Sami says.<o:p></o:p>

“Shit! I have to go.” Here is my credit card, pay for dinner with this.” Jack says as he flings his MasterCard at Sami and dashes out of the resturant. While he is running he thinks, “I have a feeling that Colin is going to do something bad to Jennifer.”<o:p></o:p>

Meanwhile at Colin’s house……<o:p></o:p>

Colin unlocks the door. “Come in Jennifer Rose.” He says.<o:p></o:p>

 “I don’t think so Colin. I want to go home now.” Jennifer says and turns to leave. Colin grabs her arm and forces her inside. Colin turned on a light and there lie 2 robes. <o:p></o:p>

“Why are there 2 robes lying out here?” Jennifer asks.<o:p></o:p>

“1 for you and 1 for me.”<o:p></o:p>

“I don’t get it.”<o:p></o:p>

“You and I will be wearing these tomorrow morning after we make love.” Colin says

“I do not want to sleep with you!” Jennifer yelled.<o:p></o:p>

“I know that, but you will my sweet Jennifer.” Colin says.<o:p></o:p>

“You sex obsessed pig! Jennifer says and dashes toward the door. Colin grabs her and kisses her. Jennifer pushes him off of her and slaps him hard on the face.<o:p></o:p>

“Why did you hit me.” Colin says removing his shirt.<o:p></o:p>

“I will not sleep with you, you monster.”<o:p></o:p>

“We will sleep together.”<o:p></o:p>

“Oh dear god, I think he is going to rape me.” Jennifer thinks in panic.<o:p></o:p>

Jack makes his way frantically to Colin’s house. “They have to be here.” He thinks. He goes to the door and finds it locked. He goes around back and finds Colin had replaced the window that he had broke to get in before. Jack doesn’t see any other way in but can see Colin grabbing Jennifer through the window and her pushing him off of her. “I have to get in.” Jack thinks frantically.<o:p></o:p>

Colin grabs ahold of Jennifer and tugs at her straps on her dress trying to get them undone. Jennifer bites his arm and Colin yelps in pain. “Ouch you bitch!” he yelled and Jennifer made a run for it. She went to the door and tried to get it open. Colin recovers and says, “I locked the doors from the outside and the inside, just incase you tried to get away.” He smiles. “You know how long I wanted to you?”<o:p></o:p>

“You bastard, what kind of a sick question is that?” Jennifer asks as he grabbed ahold of her again.<o:p></o:p>

“When I first laied eyes on you.” <o:p></o:p>

Colin pushed Jennifer down onto the floor. “Please don’t do this Colin.” Jennifer pleaded. He was much stronger than her.<o:p></o:p>

“Sorry toots.” Colin said trying to untie her dress because it had straps that criss-crossed.<o:p></o:p>

“Please I have already been raped once in my life. Don’t make me go through it again. I’m begging you stop.” Jennifer says crying. “Dear Lord please save me from this monster.” She thinks.

Chapter 9 is next <o:p></o:p>

 

Jack sees Colin and Jennifer and decides there is no more time. He takes a bunch of steps backwards and runs into the glass window shattering it and bursting inside.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

“What in the hell?!” Colin yells as a person flew through the window. He let go of Jennifer and she got away from him. She sees Jack lying on the ground all cut up from the glass. He manages to get up and looks at Colin.<o:p></o:p>

 “You ass hole!” Jack yells at him. “How dare you think of raping Jennifer!”<o:p></o:p>

 Jennifer runs over to him and gives him a hug. “Jack…. You saved me….” She says crying.<o:p></o:p>

Jack pulls out Colin’s cell phone and calls 911. Colin notices his phone.<o:p></o:p>

“You were the one who stole my phone!” Colin yelled<o:p></o:p>

“So I did.” Jack says and tells the cops their location.<o:p></o:p>

Colin started to panic. “Did anyone call?”<o:p></o:p>

“Yes, a Mr. Tony DiMera called for you. I dusgusied my voice to sound like yours and he told me all about your mission.”<o:p></o:p>

“You are bluffing!” Colin yells.<o:p></o:p>

“I’m afraid I’m not. What you were supposed to do to Hope was horrible and Baby Zack too.”<o:p></o:p>

A few minutes of silence later the cops arrive. Colin really starts to panic and grabs his gun out of his gun case. The cops busted down the door and Colin pointed the gun at Jack.

“Damn you Deveraux. You were supposed to be no threat to me!” he yells in rage.<o:p></o:p>

“Sorry to burst your bubble Dr. but you are going to jail for a very long time.” Jack says.<o:p></o:p>

“No one will ever know my mission!” Colin yells and pointed a gun at Jack. “Its like the Full Moon B&B only this time its real!” Colin then pulls the trigger shooting Jack in the chest. Jennifer screamed and the cops then grabbed Colin and got the gun away from him. Jennifer rushes to the unconscious Jack who lie on the floor motionless with blood seeping through his suit. The Paramedics rush in and put Jack on a gurney and rush him and Jennifer who wanted to come and who had to come anyways because she was almost raped to University Hospital. Colin on the other hand smiled as the Cops put him in the patrol car and took him to jail. <o:p></o:p>

“Now Deveraux will die and my mission will never come out. I will not fail Tony or Stephano DiMera.

Nice job. Not that I read many fan fic's nut I think this is the first one I read that actually has an ending.
