Before Sami left for witness protection she was told she couldn't take pictures of her babies with her because they would go through everything and take away any contraband. Yet, pictures get through, and also now she has a cell phone. Some search!
Although I wonder why she wasn't allowed pictures of her kids. It's not like anyone is going to see them if she is sequestered in this one place. This is not like a regular witness protection program where you move to a different city and take on a new persona. She's not going to be having people over. So, she should be able to keep the small pictures that she can keep in her purse or pocket.
The place is a dump for sure, but I think things will change now that Rafe is her guard. I'm certain he will be Sami's equal and she will not be getting away with any scams. I feel he is like Sami said, "a professional" and will keep Sami safe.
I know that the Salem PD has a lot of pull in the world of police (probably because they are laughingstocks.....) but since when does the FBI get involved in a case like this? They don't -- unless there is a federal law being broken -- but then again, this is Salem...........
