Today at the Salem police station, Bo & Hope want Melanie to show them the letter that was given to her. She insisted that she did not know anything a letter. Bo & Hope said that she was set up to get the letter. After hearing this Melanie gave Bo the letter. After looking at the letter they found another note. They then went to see Nicole & started asking her questions. They knew she was lying to them. I think that whatever was in the note had to show that Nicole, not Melanie was the person who could have killed Trent. (imo).

I loved how Bo and Hope caught Melanie in a lie but I'm not happy about them finding a note that makes them suspect Nicole did the killing.
I don't think she did and I hope I'm right.
Why would anyone believe what Trent had to say in the first place?
Nicole was not the only person who threatened him. Just maybe he fingered Nicole because he wanted to get revenge against her.
