Sheryl, I disagree.   I think that if Rafe called Roman it would just cause him grief and he needs to concentrate on catching the Mayor's killer and Sami's shooter.   What would it accomplish?   Roman knows Sami.  

I'd also like to sound off about the writers once again making Sami into an airhead.   I think the first two guards were unbearable.   I believe that Sami should be so depressed and upset that she'd be crying but instead TPTB have her acting like an airhead.     

ITA with Piccolo ---- everyone keeps calling Sami a spoiled brat and saying that she is acting like one.   I disagree --- she's not acting like a spoiled brat.   She's acting stupid because TPTB are making her stupid by surrounding her with idiotic cops.   these cops are supposed to be funny, but their characters are so way-over-the-top stupid that Sami has to act stupid just to be at the same level.   Sami should be crying all the time about missing her babies, and she should be really worried about the baby-to-be, but instead she is being reduced to a babbling idiot that is not funny.   don't get me wrong ---- I love humor, but it seems to me that TPTB cannot write plain & simple humor ---- they always go way-over-the-top trying to get a laugh. 

 

I don't know who this new actor is --- I've never seen him before --- but he sure is easy on these old eyes!!!!!      I hope he doesn't turn out to be another bozo with really odd habits that are the total opposites of Sami's.

p.s.   Piccolo, I cannot believe you said that Roman should concentrate on catching the Mayor's killer.    Ha-ha-ha --- that is hilarious.   Roman couldn't catch a basketball if someone walked up and handed it to him.   ROFLMAO    (I know, you temporarily forgot that this is Salem)

Vangelique, Rafe used to be a police officer on Passions which went belly up finally.    Some say he can't act.  But I say judge for yourself.   We haven't seen enough of him on Days to know what type of character he will be, but he seems to be a serious and level headed FBI agent.

I don't understand why the writers had such an excellent episode with Sami saying goodby to kids and all those tears and even when Chloe said, "You still here.   Milking it for all its worth," Sami kept her composure and replied, "How insensitive."   Then they put this devastated Sami who misses out on first trick and treat and twins first birthday and they put her with two idiots and then they have Sami being so stupid as to go through Hilda's purse and drug her with 3 pills!    Why didn't they just have Rafe from the start?   So viewers will say that Sami is a spoiled brat?   That is exactly what Hilda said about Sami that she was a spoiled brat.  

I never watched Passions, so I'll withhold judgement on this guy's acting for now.    I don't know why TPTB had Sami acting so emotionally mature when saying goodbye to her babies, but now they've got her acting like a teenage twit.  I would think she would be pestering these cops to find out how her babies are.
